    Post Squad building

I am pretty curious to hear some opinions. What method of building the squad each season does everybody use? Supposing that most players performed average, what would you do?
Keep players for the upcoming season or buy replacements? I personally prefer to use the patching system: add a new player only if it is a must.
Here are some exemples of players I kept for many seasons. They did their job very well, the keeper and the striker are still absolute beasts

The first player you showed would be long gone. The 2nd would likely be as well.

Your keeper and ST perform well as you said.

I do not tolerate any player outside of GK who doesn't have better than a 7 avg.

I thought for a while that I couldn't expect that from a CM or wingers but I have since found players at LW/AM/RW/CM who all score better than 20 goals per season and have good avgs. They might have a slight dip in form from time to time. Like my AM has had a half dozen 7's in a row but if they are getting a bunch of 5's/6's they won't stay.

It generally depends on how many tokens you have and how much money you have. I generally run with the team I already have until the major bidding wars are over and if my current team is not good enough then I myself to a poor season and start to build for the next season. I am not one of those players that have to win everything every season. I am careful with my tokens and will not bid more than 3 for any player unless I am absolutely desprerate. At your level tokens and money are hard to come by unless you invest your own money, so be careful with your bidding.

This remain to be seen. I am currently sitting with 600M,85 to come from winning the league and another 100-150 from selling players next season. I see that money are a big problem, that is why I try to keep my team competitive enough.

When it comes to midfielders, the only thing I care is that they don t make mistakes. Personally, they might end the season with no goals, even as side midfielders(an AML/AMR have to score).Even if they have straight 6 form,I still won t change them as long as they don t make many fouls and they don t give free balls to the opposition by slipping or missing elementary passes

Yes, this is a very important factor.

I am fortunate that I can both afford to buy some tokens as well as so far not being involved in bidding wars. Not sure if it is the lower lvl or my server but there is really nobody competing for the fast training nordgens so I get them for 1T and their starting bid.

I then try them out to see if they play well, keep those that stick and sell those who don't. Rinse and repeat basically. I now have 10 of the 11 positions locked down, I thought I had all 11 but my 19 yr old RB just fell apart in his 2nd season out of nowhere in spite of being trained back to 7* like the rest (I have one ST who I got to 8*). Everyone else is pretty consistent. My CK specialist did see a drastic drop in assists which I cannot figure out but it hasn't hurt my stats as a whole so meh.

But even if you are on a strict budget you can win in other ways. You just buy cheaper veteran players who are close to 6*. You have to rebuild a lot that way but you can have success. Just have to be more careful in bidding because in my experience there is a lot more competition for the cheaper players.

The bidding wars usually take place in the beginning levels. At level 15 I will hardly see any bidding war and they usually occur in the first days when a remarkable player is on a market. Tokens are not a problem for me anymore,it is all down to money.

I 'm buying young fast trainers and keeping them for 5-6 years.
I buy about one young scout/list player every season and keep them for 3-4 years (in high quality, 6*).
Also fill the blanks with a couple of 5* veteran players.
I 'm starting the season with a 5* team and with training and participation, at the mid/end of the season I have a 6* team.
    - the higher if I can, training them without spending much greens.
This quality is enough to win any title.
