What is it with all these teams that have 'FC' in their names?

Isn't there about 50% or more of all the teams that play in Top Eleven that have 'FC' in any part of the club names?

Normally either at the beginning or the end of a club name with perhaps the exception of one of my friend clubs, erster FC Puma which has the FC in the middle. Whats the real reason for all this?

Personally I think it looks stupid because FC is basically 'football club' but we already know that they are a football club, I'd like to see some people use a bit of imagination and have 'City' 'United' 'Knights' 'Kings' 'All Stars' etc...

That is because it was the default name of the club when your first logged into the game and you didn't change it.
