Mini update my end.
Rhondda Rovers main team went up against Basket FCaway in the Champions League and despite not watching the match, was able to win with ease thanks to Chikin wanting all the glory with two goals and two assists in the 5-0 win.

This means that we are through to the knockout stage, though the battle for 1st and 2nd will take place against Big FC. We won the previous match 2-0, but a big defeat for us could knock us into second.
Meanwhile, the reserves went up against Chipoopi (can't be bothered remembering the name exactly) at their place and despite taking their sweet time in getting into gear, eventually won 6-0.

Unfortunately, Geolier was injured early on and replaced by Del Portillo, which was concerning as he not long played the CL match and hardly recovered much. Thankfully, he pulled through with no issues.
Following a little bit of training tonight, I will see about putting Geolier's injury to a one day recovery.

Kicked the league top dog's arse today... They won all games in first 8 rounds conceding only 2 goals... We added 4 more goals to that count...

Two reasons for Edgar to celebrate today... He scored 106 goals for the club and now he is the best club's goalscorer of all times... With 4 assists in the last game, he became 2nd player in club's history to achieve triple-triple, 139 games, 106 goals and 100 assists...

Had a solid win against 7th place in the league today, started strongly, and it was looking like a good score, but slowed down in the second half and had to finish up with only 5 goals. It was enough to keep us in first (goal difference) however.

Cemented my place in the playoffs for the champions league with a scrappy 1-0 win. Couldn't watch it, and my star MC got red carded the 1st minute...

Not such a bad result with 3 main squad players unable to play, our best player for getting 2 yellow cards and 2 for injury, and we're still in the lead with at least 3 points.
Once a player gets injured he's never back for good, they just get injured again in the first match they play after they recover..
