Season 66 - Week 4

League: We entered today atop the group with 21 pts from 7 matches. Our opponent entered the game with 0 points, being outscored by a combined total of 78:0. Game ended up being the highest scoring game in club history; our previous record was a 15:0 triumph. Today we topped that, winning by a 15:1 scoreless.

And yes, this means we conceded a goal to the team that hasn't scored all season; GREAT JOB DEFENSE!!!!

i returned after a week in vacation and here is the results:

League: Lost 1 draw 1 win 3
CL: Lost 2 game to 1* lower team
Cup: draw 0-0 2nd leg 2nd round; lost 3rd round 1-2 home and some how win 5-0 2nd leg

League: 4th but only 3pt to 1st and all hard opponent walk through, so acceptable i said 50% winning still
CL: #2 with 6 pt but #1 has 9 pt(win againts him) #3 with 6pt(lost 2 matches so need to be very becarefull) #4 has 3pt(win#3 and lost the rest). We MUST win #1
down to 10% winning CL
Cup: Round of 16 qualified: say 10% winning

Won today's league match 8-0 against a mid-league team, while the 2nd and the 3rd both failed to win today giving us 5 points difference as the 2nd had a draw against another mid-table team and the 3rd lost to the new #2. I think he was a bit angry after such result so he challenged me to a friendly earlier today which I won.
Bad news, we received our 4th and 5th injury this season in that match, 1 of them was for a new player we bought just yesterday.
*Injury records : 4 out of 5 injuries happened in the last 2 days only. 3 out of 5 were for the same player, 2 of them happened in less than 2 mins.

Mini update from my end. A tale of two teams.

Rhondda Rovers main team played the second leg of the Cup game away to Mustafer and, despite not watching the match, we were able to produce a 1-1 draw, enough to take us into the next round 3-2 on aggregate. From the summary screen, we scored first to get the crucial away goal, but they scored around the 60th minute to make it a tense 30 minutes, but we managed to hold on.



In the League, primarily the reserves played against Joao Henrique. We scored early on and it looked like we would have another high score in our favour. However, this was not to be as we seemed to struggle to create many good chances on goal. Things were not helped when the useless Danish twat in midfield was sent off for a second yellow card, meaning that Van Buyten was sacrificed for Lubo to plug the gap in midfield. They started to get more of the chances, so we backed off a little and changed from attacking to normal, plus changed personnel due to tiredness from previous match and uselessness of the other. Thankfully, we held on to win 1-0.



Alarmingly this is my second 1-0 win on the bounce, a concern primarily due to the low strength of my opponents in the League.
