Fickle fans

Hello, first post here.

I've been playing TE2015 for a couple months now and might be an addict (not tried to stop, don't want to stop) we're doing okay in our 4th season, sitting in 5th with 26 points 2 points behind 2nd and currently in the quarter finals in the cup.

I've got the L3 small town stadium with 7k seats, I can't build anything else unless I upgrade the stadium but even though, when I log in online it says I've got 15,105 fans, only 3,033 bothered to turn up to our last match which we won 3-0

I'm reluctant to add more seats and build a bigger stadium, nothing worse than having a large empty stadium! Or is it a case of build it, and they will come?

I under stand it's performance related but in the grand scheme of things I don't think we're doing too badly.

Check your ticket price - it may be putting some of the fans off coming...

Take a look at your last few home games > Spectators tab. The %age bonus you receive from attendance is a guide to how well supported you are: its 5% when you can't fit any more in if its lower then you've got work to do and price is the best action.

(There's an attendance cap per level but you're nowhere near that.)

Sometimes even if prices are good they still won't turn up if your opponent is poor or your form is poor or other voodoo.

The number of fans is your total fanbase. Then there's your stadium capacity. Then there's the level Cap.

Thanks for the replies, my ticket price is set to 5 on league, cup and champions league.

Never had more than 6k out of 7k through the gates this season. I'll lower the price and see what happens. Revenue from tickets in very minimal anyway.

I`m level 6 and charge 11 for home league games and only got below



so not full attendance so have lowered to 10 too see what happens and fully built for this level so maybe lower price but bare in mind you can raise prize each season, i normally raise a couple above season before and raise each home game till attendance goes down,

edit; can`t say if goes back up yet as i`v had 4 away games in last games

My level 6 team were champions last season and 4th so far this season, current ground capacity 7000 (upgrade in progress) and tickets set at 10, but still only getting 5000 in. 99K fans and medium car park. It appears my fans are fickle too. Home record p7 w 5 d 2 goals 22-3 so certainly providing entertainment.

Haven't checked all mine but in the league I'd been consistently maxing out at 204k/236k. With a few more wins under our belt I decided to screw a few more coins from the great unwashed - almost 20k have stayed away last 2 home games.

Well feck 'em if they think a 260k capacity stadium in a town of 18k population builds itself - 35$ to watch my genius in action is nothing.

But ofc they want they're faces on the TV in the CL and Cup so are filling the place at 38$ and 40$ respectively.

Btw, have they not even heard of Season Tickets?

Another disappointing crowd 4000 only to see a 10-1 massacre. Fans blame poor level of opposition. Supporters Association suggest 'kids for a quid' games to get the kids off of their computer games and that the players should attend local schools to get more kids interested, as they are the future.

This makes sense then: L3 - 6,000 as that's the most I've ever had. We're currently 5th and 1 point out of 4th, so if I go up and get to L4 I can get more bums on seats. Good times.
We just won 5-0 away, home game next in the cup, tickets set at 1, should hopefully see 6k tonight then.
