League: The Buffs travel to meet the 3rd favourite for the league and win 2-0.
One of those strange games. I was watching commentary and it was mostly the home side attacking and Buffs defending (exceptionally well) except when we scored 2. I was thinking "against the run of play". Then at HT I looked at stats and were were more than double in eveything that counted in an attacking sense. I guess the commentary just decided to show me how good the defense was. >.<
Pre-season favourite for the league supported against me so its "Open Season" now ;) 2pt lead and mostly crap teams until the turn of the campaign.
Cup: 4-0 win for Cheats FC. :D
So today it was 3 goals from Striker Harper, 1 each for MCs Henderson and Morrison and the other for marauding DMC Hansen ;)

Out of CL, out of Cup. Really struggling with all the injuries. We have 5 at the moment and had 7 up until two days ago!! Having got all of our defenders back fit, we now have all but 1 MC injured, our AML, and 1 striker. It's taking its toll on the squad.
We played the top two (unbeaten) teams in the league the last two games.
First, we played 2nd, and defended for our lives, with ten mins to go, we got our DMC sent off, and with the last kick of the game they scored.
Second, we played 1st. We dominated without me being there and their manager was there. We took the lead three times before conceding two late goals to lose 4-3. Absolutely devastating. Need to get players back fit and challenge for top 4 now. We are still only 1 point outside it even though we've had a tough run with games and injuries racking up.
My injuries this season must be some sort of record.
8 league games in and going well, it`s only 2nd i have too worry about as they are similar quality as myself and we still have to play
so on top of that i`v been unbeaten in the league for the last 2 seasons ( no scout player`s ) and the record stand so far at

bit of training ahead of todays game due to rubbish ko time and yet another injury make that 7 in 4, they are focusing on my dmcs and strikers big time
Finally won a CL match, 2-1 away against the other team that can't qualify, too little to late, but hopefully we can go on a run with a fixture list of only league games and 1CL game left.
Drew 3-3 in the league earlier, coming back from 2-0 down.
Still have 5 injuries, of which the shortest is 2 days remaining...
well i never got the 5/67 goal battering that i expected and even funnier i even moved up a spot in the league

I am so confused.
So I hadn't lost a CL match for 5 seasons, it was a record I was very proud of. And then this season I've lost two so far. Against the same opposition twice. They've beaten no one else, and there quality is almost 10 stars lower than mine.
You know what the worst part is? Both times they've beaten me with the 'Park the FFFFFF bus' Formation.
Like seriously. How does a crap team, that isn't winning, with a broken formation, dominate and destroy a previously undefeated team.
So now my CL hopes rest on having to win the last match, and hope another guy losses. Otherwise the triple is gone!
In some good news, I played 3rd place this morning. I was asleep for it, and so didn't hold out much hope. But surprisingly I won 0-3 even though I had a red card and 2 yellow cards..

I have already decided that my team will be more than good enough to not need much investment next season. My current intention is to just replace my GK at the start of next season as that will be more than good enough to push me through level 31 and into level 32, with the intention to clear out all my players at the start of level 32 and bring new blood in then.
i lost to team in champions league 4-2 and had this team last game so needed to win by 3 clear goal`s to get 2nd and i managed to win 4-1 and got second spot 6-5 over the legs :) even sweeter i went on too win the Final :)Quote:

We have qualified for the knockout stage of c/l with a game to spare so decided to train my players and got another injury so now 8 in 5
Yesterday night we faced the 3rd, Pavel Nedved scored 2 goals off foul, scored another goal alone, and failed another 1 foul in the last minutes.
When one use the time as a manager to see who's the best in this labour, and then appear a match with many fouls, like 3 in this case, and 2 are converted in goals for the player that you've selected, that feels really good :3
Port Vale FC too won it's match again so I still with my 2 teams in the Top.
Dammit dammit dammit. Second win.

League: Up in first despite a home draw and a first defeat by more than two goals in the past two seasons.
Champions League: Qualified from Group stage as leader with one match in hand.
Cup: In Top 16, first leg away defeat 2-3 so all to play for in 2nd leg.
I must go on holiday more often...
Players: Got a $148M/8T offer for MC Jack McCaul (value $106M). Managed to find a replacement in the cut-throat TM for $96.9M/2T so well up on the deal... :)
And today I made a hale marry bid of the most expensive player on auction.. and this is the first message I see when I open my computer.

Cup: MC Morrison smashes the Nord FA Pro-Striker Cartel and grabs a bottle of Bubbly, although his midfield partner Henderson is still wondering how he managed it. (That head high tackle and booking probably did for Henderson's chances of collecting the sparkling stuff.)
Buffs FC won 4-1 - Henderson (MC) scored 2, Morrison (MC) 1 and Right Winger Gauld rounded things off. Its thought Harper (ST) was in the starting line up but no one who watched the game is quite sure (a 7!).
League: The Buffs won 6-0 at 12th.
Buffs Mad sent out a strike partnership (a rare event) utilising 4-1-3w-2 but Naismith was injured early (8 days). A goal from Mulgrew (DMC) and 2 from Harper (ST) sent the Buffs in 3 up at halftime. MC Morrison, who had expected a rest, adopted the AMC role. In the second half Henderson (MC) & Morrison (MC) scored and Harper completed his hat-trick near the end.
More goals were expected but 6 is good enough to stay 3pts ahead and maintain a slight goal difference advantage. The statisticians once more adopted the Party Line and Harper received Magnum #12.
The Buffs main rival, having supported against us, has now decided friendship is the best policy. >.< He'll need to wait ;)
EDIT: Harper is now 2nd in the league charts for goals, assists and ratings; MCs Henderson and Morrison are 3rd for Goals and Assists respectively.
League: Picked up a convincing 5:1 victory, but remain one point behind 1st and they defeated 3rd by a 3:1 scoreline. My MC/AMC/ST Wesley Sneijder picked up an injury, making the seasons injury count (ME 7 Opponent 3).
Cup: 1st minute yellow card for my Stud MC Sneijder (mentioned above) created some problems for this cup round. We jumped up 2:0 behind 12th and 19th minute goals from Paniagua and Artegea respectively, both assisted by Blatter. I subbed out Sneijder with a 2:0 advantage at the 52nd minute, and his replacement (Baldy) immediately lost the ball and the opponent pulled one back on the counter-attack. The score remained 2:1 for the duration of the match. I'll be w/o Sneijder for the home leg due to yellow card accumulation.
Champions: Tommorrow's match is meaningless as I've already clinched the group. Its just sit tight and see if the round of 16 match is against Group H's heavyweight? Crossing my fingers that they get their act together and win their group tomorrow, but if they don't, well we'll just deal with it when the time comes.
Palace Casuals stick to the top of the league after a thorough examination by League form team FC Brandenburg. Striker Catalin Neagu has been on indifferent form as of late, but came back with a fine solo goal - this is from the comments on the mobile App as I was watching it - first an attempted bicycle kick, then he nutmegged a defender, ran past two others, situated himself next to the keeper (?) and then shot the ball into the opposite corner of the goal... phew!! No wonder he got MoM...

Not sure what level you are but, in general as you progress, the Free 'no-Tokens' Academy players should be signed and sold. a 1* free player at Level 4 will be a nice 18yo 4* player on the Level 1 TM.Quote:
