League looks pretty competitive, maybe the three bottom are abandoned. I'm going to have to try hard and be lucky to get a CL spot:

I am now content to say all my transfers for the season are complete.

The current state of my team is as follows -



Rodiel is just 2 cones away from being 6 star.
Polat is just 3 cones away from being 6 star.
Ngeyitala and Akdeniz are around 8/9 cones each away from being 6 star, not too far off and will hit the scout status within a week I feel.

Only Cabral isn't 6 star or close to being near it. I did make a bid for a negs keeper, but it feel through. That said, I'm happy to keep him as he performs well.

Really pleased that I picked Nunes up as he was spotted on the negs list and as he covers all defensive line positions will mean that along with Barry who is the same, I feel I can go a player lighter in defence.

Tokens stand at 14,658 - so 66 more than at the start of the season.
Finance up to 7.08B, which is down on two days ago thanks to the new additions, however is still a 153M profit on the season to date.
Greens have taken a battering, but I plan to only use them now to keep my keeper fit (as he will play in EVERY game including friendlies)

My aim for the end of the season is to hit 8B in finance. A top 4 finish is the minimum league expectation - and I will be disappointed if I don't go far in the Champions League. In the League I have two other teams with equally strong teams. I am the strongest, but only by a small margin on the other two. I am quite comfortably the best in the CL, bar one other team, whom I can't meet until the Semi's by my working out.

Mixed fortunes for Palace Casuals in the latest round of matches. In the Champions League, another draw, this time 1-1 away to Rider FC. The early evening League match saw their first competitive defeat this season as they went down 1-3 at FC Zvaba.

Defender Ben De Wree was rested today, and this evening became the victim of a Negotiation attack. Several offers were submitted, most of the derisory $102M 0T variety (player's value is $106M), but one came in for $116M 2T. However, the Management had determined that the player concerned was only 2 Skill points away from his Scout star, so organised a late team training session, which gave him 1 point, and he then undertook an intensive personal training session which gave him the required second point...

League : Lost the match against a probably abandoned team that lost their first 2 matches 0-4 and 0-5. I was there watching the match and it didn't seem like I'd finish the game with a loss, or even without scoring a goal.
It ended 0-1, they scored at the 57th minute then I went hard attacking but it was no good...
That loss got me down to 7th place (D-W-L), while the 1st who is the only team to win all 3 matches is in fact an abandoned team with only 8 players in main squad including GK. While the 6th who is another team that didn't lose till now (D-W-D) is another abandoned team with no GK whatsoever in his team (main, subs. or reserves).


CL : Couldn't watch that match, against another abandoned team, but I did win this one 3-0 keeping my leadership of the group with goal difference.
Makes me think if my team actually plays better when I'm not there to watch the match.

It's a good start of the season for my Red Stars.

Three wins out of three games in the league, with only a goal differential keeping them out of the first place:



Then, leading the group in the Champions League after a pair of convincing performances:



Down 1:2 in the Cup after being unable to manage my team during a live match, but I bank on the return leg at home to take care of it.

Lost again. This time in the CL, against a team who lost their first game 8-1..... No idea what's wrong with my team, I watched the match and we dominated again but couldn't score. Our AMR, Gozalbo who scored 46 in the league last season has yet to find the net so far this season. He missed a lot of chances that last seasons would have been goals. Thinking of taking him out of the starting team for a while.

Injuries are racking up too. Got another 5 dayer in the CL game. Another defender too.

That's 3 x 5 day injuries to defenders and 1x20 day to a midfielder.
