I am not too sure that now is the best time to be bidding for players anyway. Beginning of the season!
I'm in desperate need of a striker. My FWD who scored 30+ is div 2 scored 12 last year (fortunately the player who is a little worse than him bagged my goals to get me promoted in 2nd place)
Got a feeling that scoring goals in season 4 is going to be even harder!
Unfortunately, i can't seem to make an offer for my friends players who is Level 20 now lol... he must be on a different server or too high for me to bid for

I agree with you that today isn't the best time to be bidding on players.

To acquire a player from your level 20 friend, his player will have to 5* or less at your level. Unless they're dedicated at fooling the cup draw, you won't find a player like that on the roster of a player at that level.

Level 4 isn't all that difficult! The number of 5 star teams in the champions league is very small and most teams in the league are still abandoned. So, unless your shark attacked in your league draw, you should be fine. Champions, well their are bound to be a few decent teams (only two other 5* teams in my level 4 CL), but the big jump in difficulty is still a few levels away!
