4-5-1 V Style vs 4-1-4-1 : More safe?

Hi guys!

I do love 4-5-1 V Style, but i'm looking for a more balanced and secure tactic for the next season. So i though about a simple 4-1-4-1.

ST

ML(↑) - MC - MC - MR(↑)
- DMC -
DL - DC - DC - DR

That's why i need your help if you already played with this tactic, i would like to know, please, its advantages and disadvantages

Its a more defensive approach to the game if you make it your main formation. It will be more secure to your own half and at the same time you will have less chances to score, so if you dont have superior quality on your opponents you might want to think over this twice.

I am also a 4-5-1 V fan, if game demands more wing def then I might switch to 4-1-4-1. Good formation but dont expect to dominate matches with it.

i beat a team stronger than me 6-2 yesterday . and always score goals with the above my 4141 formation
is not at all as defensive as you think

Maybe you re right here.... but then again I see your formation is a combo out of those 2 formations....how many goals your team has scored in your league yet? I bet your amr has more than your st.

goals coring wise it is a share between AMR and ST

but my one is like that

it just give me the right balance between the best of the 2 formation

counter, defend (if opposite is as good or stronger ..otherwise normal), both flanks if team have no wingers or mix if they have, long balls .. but do mix at times when opposition half is crowded

this work with most tactics i faced
but some started to sit deep and defend in numbers, like put 5 at back with 1 or 2 DMC .. then you need to change to more attacking formation

once a goal or 2 up .. i tend to switch my AMR to RM with up arrow .. this give my mid more domination to kill the game
