What formation is more effective against 442c? Im thinking of starting 451v then later changing to ND. Both my wingers are on form and scoring most of the goals, then again Im not sure a lone striker will do it against his DC's..... MY LIFE!!
another dissapointed game at CL.... draw (from a 2-0 lead AND HE SUBBED first HALF ONLY LOL!) against a weaker active team in away... last time cup i lost home after an against draw combo... so i'm a little bit disappointed now... :(
AEPRE FC - "New Generations" with the unconvincing performance thanks to the "Royal Rumble League"
The manager really expected a very hugely successful performances this season, but however, the introduction of our new generation unfortunately coincided with the new "Royal Rumble League" draw system, where it really reduces the chance of winning any more league titles, as well as making things even more difficult for everyone.
We're currently 3rd in the table, behind the streamrolling Turkish side Erenkoy GB, and Albanian team Flamurtari FC. We only needed to remain in the top four, but the Season 5 and Level 8 curse still haunting us just like the original team.
Introducing one off project - Singapore Lions
Our Southeast Asian neighbor Singapore are celebrating their 50th Anniversary of its independence from Malaysia, so I decided to join them in celebration.
The new, one-off club will be named "Singapore Lions", consisting of a team composed entirely of Singaporean players, who are currently active, as well as the national legend himself Fandi Ahmad, and his son Irfan Fandi, as well as Singaporean forum legends, such as the legendary Perfect Tactics' Batman bin Suparman, or even AEPRE FC reboot legend Pawel Sochocki, and on-form A Tan.
Singapore's national day, 9th of August, falls on Day 15 of the season.

CL next season seems secured.

the new league draw hasn't changed much 10 teams struggeling for the top places, the rest are chanceless or drifter/floaters
I don't know if its good or just sad, but I am already preparing for next season, trimming squad and replacing very old (27 yeared) players etc.
The reason for my early preparations are Nordeus Cup CL draw that the last 10 seasons has included at least 6 teams 12-20 skills better, that of course are the winners at the end. IMO that makes it a bit unmotivating and boring, because there is just no chance in h... of winning. :(:(:(
Another hard defeat to take for Rocket Hotspur this morning, going down 1-0 to first, who we were joint first with. Now we are three points behind and been over taken by third place too, who we play tomorrow in another big clash.
We went 1-0 down early in the second half, made a change almost immediately and went on the attack, but we couldn't get a breakthrough, even aft they went down to 10 men in the 77th minute.
Then in the 83rd minute, their defender hacked top scorer Gozalbo down in the box, and he referee awarded us a penalty. Second top scorer and 6* striker, Grigoriadis (bought for 1 token) stepped up for the big moment, but the keeper saved the penalty. We had two more chances from corners but couldn't score.
Grigoriadis and his mates, Gozalbo(AMR), Thenu(AML) have all been dropped from the CL squad for this evenings first leg quarter final, and subjected to some hard attacking training in the hope that they can find their shooting boots again. Too many times this season it's been down to our MCs and defenders from corners to score the goals.
Hoping for a good result away from home tonight in the CL, a score draw would be good.
Sons of Pitches have dropped to 3rd in the league after losing 3-0 earlier in the day.
We approached the home leg of CL 1/4 finals with 2-3-2-2(amr/l)-1 and gave the opposition two away goals but eventually won the match 4-2. No room for error in 2nd leg and we will approach the match with a safety first mentality.
"Some people think football is a matter of life and death. I assure you, it's much more serious than that" - Bill Shankly
Champions: Won 2-0 @ home today with goals from Van De Corput (66') and Blatter (77').
Opponents formation was 3n-4-3 and I started with a 4-4-2 classic. At halftime I changed to a 4-3w-1-2.
League: Score doesn't matter, since opponent is tanking. But all 3 MC's with a "10"; what are the odds?

Palace teams report for Thursday 16th July...
Both Palace teams had evening matches, with Casuals kicking off just 23 minutes after the start of the Terriers match, so the Management had a bit of rushing about to do...
Terriers showed the way to victory with a 10-0 win over bottom club Kenneth FC. The visitors did themselves no favours by using a tanking formation with goalkeeper playing the centre defender in a 5-man defence, and several other players out of position. Moran (4), Atkins (2), Briggs (2), Silny and Gorrono provided the goals, Silny scoring his debut goal for the home side. With some of the 'I-6' teams playing each other and sharing points, things have gotten a little tighter in the League and Terriers are now 6th in a top 7 which is covered by a mere 6 points.
Casuals took heart from their Junior team's achievement, and gained a modicum of revenge for their earlier heavy defeat at the hands of Lilly Whites with a 3-2 home win that takes them back to 3rd place in the table. Defender Arma and left-winger Hansen (2) gave the hosts a 3 goal half-time lead, but as the visitor's spectators piled in in the second-half, the tide turned and two goals by the visitors left Casuals hanging on to a slender lead for the last four minutes. One sour note for the home side was a 4-day hamstring injury sustained by keeper Bieder. He is under the care of the medical staff in a bid to get him fit again for tomorrow's match.
CL: Buffs win 1-0 away.
Might tone down the tackling for 2nd leg, GK had to pluck 2 out from under the bar.

Day for all...
defeat with Valle de Escotia against the 3rd, with advantadge for us in possession + too many chances.. but 1-0 defeat. We have 44 points same as the 1st that have +2 goals of GD.
defeat 0-1 with Bayern in CL, lets see the next match. I am not agree playing a +1 level CL. Thats complicated... lets see if I can find solution.
victory 4-1 in Champions with Valle de Escotia so we have the semifinals 90% sure
victory 3-1 in League with Bayern so we keep +5 points to face the 5th tomorrow.
Eh.. been busy with RL stuffs, my team is in a slump and so it goes:

Pfui! That last draw was my fault, the team that won a CL match wasn't supposed to be playin'. Ooops.
a fantastic victory in first leg of champs league against tough oppo who had loads of support and we even did it without our suspended cb 2-1 so two away goals hope we can hold on :)
My new team that is almost undefeated has had a little set back. I had some energy to spare so I thought lets play a friendly against Mister Mourinho. 60% ball possession, more shots, more shots on target and what do you think. Lost with 3-0. His goalie makes 5 saves. Sigh. The team was devastated apparantly from this defeat.
The next match was against the number 8 of the competition. His quality is 13,3 while mine is about 21 or so. I should dominate this match like mad normally. The game progresses but nothing is happening. I only have 55% ball possession and hardly any shots on target (still more then the advisary). The game ended in 0-0 with both team scoring 7-8-9's. Ok, my team did have 2 red cards suspensions and 1 injured. Maybe it was just that.
Next game against the number 4 of the competition. This team has 12,2 quality. Again normally total domination. The game progresses and he scores 1-0. Ok, no worries I say I have 2 highly talented strikers at quality 26 that can surely beat his 11 and 12 quality defenders. After 90 minutes, I am still 1-0 behind. I had 70% ball possession and somehow he managed to get the same shot and shots on targets as me. Thank god my goalie made 4 saves. The one save he didn't make was a goal. Then again his goalie only made 1 save. My other 4 shots apparantly were blocked. His team all 7-8, my team all 6-7. Form >>>> quality I guess. Still 7 to 9 points ahead of the number 2. Few more days to go.
League: Buffs FC win 3-1 in the league v Trolls'r'Us aka Bad Boys FC. The Buffs won the earlier home fixture 1-0.
Bad Boys lived up to their name as the Buffs got a PK in 15 mins - GK Gordon missed. DR Hutton opened the scoring in the 20th min. Right Winger Gauld was scythed down on 49 mins - the match was delayed for 15 mins as Ground Staff searched for the pieces of his knee (6 days ACL).
Since we have no sub winger another MC came on going 3 in the centre with a Left Winger and the opposition immediately got a PK (diving scum ;) ). GK Gordon atoned for his PK miss with a PK save. :D MC James Morrison made it 2-0, Bad Boys pulled one back but ST Harper locked up the points with a 69th min strike.
The Buffs are now 6 points clear. Next up is 3rd.

Abdul-Wahed had quite the match 4 goals and an assist :o 10 and MVP

Friday 17th July, Palace teams news...
Morning/Lunchtime matches for the Palace teams today.
Casuals were first up and had a tricky away match against a lower-table team, PFDGJ, but emerged victorious 3-1. Using the 'hit 'em quick, hit 'em hard' philosophy, left winger Hansen found himself on the right wing for a change and sprinted past the home left midfielder and crossed for striker Mourad to head home after only 2 minutes. The match from there on was fairly evenly matched until the start of the second-half, when Casuals upped the tempo a notch. A Hansen free-kick was nodded in by right-winger Shaqiri in the 53rd minute and in the 71st minute Hansen helped himself to a goal, a shot which caught the home 'keeper on the wrong foot. Despite a consolation goal scored by the hosts 15 minutes from time, Casuals coasted home. An injury to utility defender Zhelev in the dying seconds of the game took some of the gloss off the win, though.
Terriers kicked off at lunchtime, away at table-topping FC Iban, and shocked their hosts, emerging with the three points in a 3-0 victory. An early injury to right-back Roemgens meant an out-of-position substitution, central defender George coming on and playing 85 minutes. You can't give attacking midfielder Moran a chance from a set-piece, and Iban found that to their cost in the 11th minute when Rasskazanov fouled on the left wing, and Moran crossed for striker Jones to head in for the opener. With their tails up after gaining the advantage, Terriers scored twice in five minutes before the half-hour mark, left winger Masegela firing home from 30 yards and Moran scoring himself direct from a free-kick. After half-time, the home side asserted themselves more, but the Terriers defence, particularly George, played heroically and the half-time score stood at the end.
Palace Casuals injury stats - 8 injuries, 33 days - thus comfortably eclipsing last season's 7/24
Palace Terriers injury stats - 11 injuries, 39 days
6:1 in league,Gomez scored First 5 ha ha,my man:-) tomorrow vs tanker in 3d who lost today ,so even a defeat wouldn't matter, excellent :-)Attachment 49861Attachment 49862
Lost our first leg CL game 1-0, away from home. Dominated from start to finish but couldn't break a wall of 4 down, conceded from a free kick.
Meanwhile, we played against 2nd today, trying to turn our form around after 2 defeats in the least 3. We did just that with a hard fought win in an exciting match that finished 3-2.
Dropping our 6* striker and playing our 5* ST, Le Guen paid off. He chipped in with a goal and an assist.
We went into the game low on confidence, and it didn't help us when we conceded in the 21st minute, but we hit back soon after through our great goal scorer Gozalbo, who latched on to a cross from Le Geun and volleyed into the roof of the net. 13 minutes later and just one minute before half time, we were ahead after a corner from Kuong Seung was met by a towering heard from MC O'Toole. It was only ten minute into the second half when we extended our lead further throug another corner. Le Guen met another Kuong Seung corner and fired it home from close range.
Just 4 minutes passed though and the opposition got one back, only to lose a player to a red cRd two minutes later.
The action wasn't finished though, as they lost their DC to a red as well, and we were awarded a penalty.
But for the third game in a row where we've gotten a penalty, we missed the penalty.
But w hung on for the win and went level on points with 2nd, 4 behind 1st at the moment.
as time goes by ...

ok... and with a 4-2 against the 4th and because the leader that had same points as us had a draw 2-2.... we recovery the throne...lol
closse league--- too Bayern won and the 2nd draw so... we have now +7 points.
Attachment 49877
8 points clear in league and rivals beaten twice but is a very tight q wise so no easy games apart from bottom club
So in our league today, first played second, first won by 2 goals to nil, so Rocket Hotspur have the opportunity to regain second place, but first are now 7 points clear before we play tonight. A win is very important.
Meanwhile, preparations continue for the home leg of our CL Quarter Final, where we trail 1-0 from the first leg. We've trained hard recently, especially in attack, in the hop that we can get an early lead and make it through to the semi final, where we will be against tough opposition 2Q above, but we will have a chance because our defence is so strong and has been all season.
felt like a pregnant woman it was a hard labor :o
and guys don't try this at home... err i mean subbing 3 times before the injury hit u... that's why i'm only subbing 2 :o

Palace Teams news for 18th July...
Same match pattern as yesterday, Casuals playing mid-morning, Terriers at lunchtime.
Casuals were at home to Sefer FC, lying 10th in the table and enjoying a mini-revival, which Casuals nipped in the bud, but only just. After a goal-less first-half, in which the only event of note was another injury to home 'keeper Bieder (second in three days!), things got very interesting in the second-half. Barely had substitute 'keeper Cong Vinh taken his place and with the crowd just resuming their seats, and right-winger Shaqiri sliced through the visitor's defence and scored to put the home side in the lead. Just three minutes later, however, and the match had turned on its head as Sefer scored two goals to put them in the lead for the first time. Shaqiri and left-winger Hansen scored two in two minutes to put Casuals back in front again, before the visitors scored another equaliser to bring the score to 3-3. After a couple of wasted chances, the Casuals Management made one of those inspired changes which are seen in hindsight as a miracle-worker. Bringing on Neagu for fellow-striker Mourad, the sub immediately made a run through the defence, his shot being parried out for a corner by the Sefer 'keeper. Neagu then got his head to the ensuing kick from Shaqiri, and he found the back of the net for a 4-3 lead, which Casuals kept to the end.
Terriers kept up their recent winning run, racking up the points and goal-difference in advance of their tricky run-in against several of the 'I-6' teams. Avicena were the visitors to the Terriers Stadium, third from bottom of the League and playing several outfield players out of position. Attacking midfielder Moran notched himself another hat-trick, and goals from Silny, Masegela and Clare made up the rest in a 6-0 demolition of their opponents. Home 'keeper Mateus certainly earned his keep with a penalty save, but there was momentary confusion prior to this while the ref made up his mind what he was doing:

Terriers have now scored 21 goals without reply in their past four matches...
Prior to the match, a replacement was sought for the long-term injured right-back Roemgens, and a 1T purchase followed:

Why no-one wanted him is a mystery apart from the 4*/15Q tag...
Palace Casuals injury stats - 9 injuries, 38 days.

Ugly but a win's a win. Through to CL semi's; Blatter hit my lightning bolt from afar in 17th minute.
Luckily opponent's keeper made ZERO saves!
out of champs league 3-4 agg tie was just about to go into extra time when they gave away a pen and had their dl so but we missed it and they went up the other end and scored game over
CL: Buffs were quaking in fear ( ;) ) with a 1-0 away win feeling like such a slender lead going into the pressure filled, tinderbox home tie.
7-0 win, move on, nothing to see here.:p *voice in head* Pride comes before a fall.
PS. I changed one of my MCs at HT and Lord Nordeus pounced with a shot from the stands ringing out and the other midfield maestro fell like a sack of spuds. But DMC/MC slipped forward and DC/DMC came on - all is hunky dory. :D
Sons of Pitches are in 2nd position after dishing another thrashing to the league whip boys. The game ended 0-17 to our favour and my gem of a player Nosov (Amc/Aml) got 5 goals.
4 players with a 10 rating and a welcome goal difference boost is a work well done.
In the Cl, the team won 2-4 the same scoreline as our win in the 1st leg.

League: Buffs FC welcome the 3rd place side for a league tie which could prove crucial to their title aspirations.
By 60 mins the Buffs had firmly closed the back door but were not taking their chances. The ball seemed to "Whistle past" more often than an RAF drill team lost in a maze. Buffs Mad urged his young charges on and although this allowed the opposition more chances too, a Harper double claimed the win.

Rocket Hotspur progressed to the CL semi finals after winning 4-0 in the home leg to turn a 1-0 first leg deficit around.
It was comfortable from the start as we dominated, scoring early through newly promoted academy product, Rooney, before left back Ozdemir added a second shortly before the half hour mark.
It was much the same story in the second half, as we scored our third 9 minutes into the second half, after Grigoriadis latched onto a cross from the wing. He scored again with 15 minutes to go and seal our path to the semi finals.
The one blotch on the scoreboard was left back Ozdemir getting a 12 day injury with 4 minutes to go. Thankfully we have enough on the bench to cover the final days of the league and CL.

We scored 2 minutes in, and then didn't score again until 20 minutes to go, but the. The gates opened and we scored three goals in the final 15 minutes, to boost the goal difference a but and move back into 2nd place, 4 points behind 1st, 3 clear of the pack in 3rd, 4th and 5th, who are all on 42, while we sit on 45.
