I experienced something similar...not the last minute goal but almost.
Interesting, it seems that Nordeous added some very random factors in their programming works to create this scenario.

Palace Casuals avoided defeat in their latest CL match, but only managed a 1-1 draw at home, so their interest in the competition has ended with two Group matches remaining. Look out for the fire sale of surplus players at the end of the week as the squad is trimmed down for the rest of the season...
😄 so funny, I am thinking about the same thing here, will play a CL match in an hour and if I loose then will do exactly the same thing you are trying to do.

Left winger Baxter scored 5 (including a 5 min hat-trick) with 1 assist and rated 10.
GK Craig Gordon did a funny dance and rated 8.
Feels like the wingers are the goal-getters this Season.
My players scored a goal from double corners, after 34+ missed ones... :rolleyes: Hallelujah...

Palace Casuals at last have an away win this season! What goes around, comes around; an 89th minute header by Jones from a Shaqiri corner snatches the game away from ForzaGS, who had done enough for the Casuals Management to be satisfied with a draw... Earlier, the hosts had opened the scoring in the first half with a double corner, :mad: but Casuals hit back in the second half with striker Mourad converting another Shaqiri corner (one of 10) before Jones' late winner. Midfielder Muscroft had returned to the starting line up after an intensive session with the magic sponge, only to see fellow MC Topalan succumb to a bad tackle and retire with a suspected hamstring injury (4 days).

League: The Buffs win 8-0 at home in the league.
GK Craig Gordon recently took over PK duties and *Boom* started the scoreboard ticking. AMR Gauld struck twice, AML Baxter once, ST Harper hit 1 and made 2, Right Back Gough bagged a double and DMC Mulgrew finished with the 1 that takes the Buffs league tally to 50.
Ofc Lone Striker Harper rates 10 (must be related to someone in the Stats Dept) but has lost his MoM touch this Season with Gough glugging down the Bubbly after his 10.
Only new MC Stoyanov and the 3 Stooges have failed to score this Season.
At the risk of jinxing things, Buffs FC have not yet had a visit from the Injury Fairy.
Cup: 4-5-1V didn't work vs 3-5-2 :(
Later I changed to 3-1-3-1-2 with red arrows over DMC and AMC and I scored two times, but I need win by 0-3.
At least I learnt how to defeat strong 3-5-2.
League: I have the match tonigth vs 7th, with results of today now I'm in sixth position! Very competitive league. If I win climb up to second.
I need one DL, one DR and one MC with 49Q minimun to try conquest CL and League :(

Out of the cup 1:1 4:0. First in Champs league group. 3 points behind first after poor management resulted in a tired squad playing 2 matches in 3 hours.

Gf's farm team undefeated in league (1 draw) and just progressed to next cup round easily.
Palace Terriers bounce back from yesterday's defeat with a 4-1 home thumping of Gorgeous AC. Striker Jones gets his first goal of the season from a Moran free-kick in the 1st minute after MC Silny suffers an injury from a foul tackle. Silny's replacement, MC Jantasuriwong, lasts 30 minutes before he offends for the second time and suffers the Order of the Early Bath. Gorgeous equalise from the resulting free-kick, and it was game on. Despite the missing man, Terriers start the second half brightly and even increase the pressure on their visitors as the half goes on. With the last quarter of the game starting, Moran breaks the deadlock and then goes on to complete his hat-trick within the next 12 minutes. Captain MC Flack picked up a late booking and a suspension for the next game, thus increasing the problems that Jantasuriwong's absence causes...
With an ACL tear diagnosed (6 days), the latest injury makes the Palace Terriers injury stats 7 injuries, 27 days.

Lost first leg 0:1. Today, goals from Blatter (54') and Van De Corput (77') put the boys thru. MOTM went to Van De Corput, whose been in stellar form all season. Managers can't take any credit for the accusation of Van De Corput, as he accidentally placed a bid on him in negotiations. But he's been worth the cost and then some so far.
