    Season 68-strange.jpg

I have seen, and played som matches with two defenders and DM's and the penalty seems very moderate now

    How have you experienced it?

This is the strongest formation I have faced so far. This formation caused my team a lot problems. It seems that it is very difficult to stop a team using this formation from scoring. With proper orders, this formation seems to cause a lot of havoc.

Not sure when you're playing it but I played it a couple of seasons ago and used 352v Defensive Man on Man Mixed Passing Long, Counters - aim is to pull them up a bit and get 2 on 2 at the back. I think the first match was a stalemate 0-0 with very little chances either way (I didn't get to watch it). I therefore concluded it was playing defensive too. Started defensive in second, was watching, and changed to Normal after 10 mins. Won by 3 iirc. (I think Peter played v this last season too),

Whenever I see an X-style up front I always at least match up to it in defence and go Man on Man. I even use 451v against 3n-2w-Xstyle which seems counter-intuitive.

PS My alt team has played against both 2N-3W-1-3W-1 and 2n-3w-2n-2w-1 this season and won both with 442 and 413W2 (but the first of those was a crap team).

I played yesterday with something similar but not equal:
    ***ST***ST***
    ML***MC****MR
    **DMC**DMC***
    DL****DC****DR

    I won 4-2 with this:

    ***ST***ST***
    *****AMC*****
    ***MC*MC*MC**
    DL**DC**DC**DR

    43.3Q General vs 47.5Q (me).
