Palace teams report - dateline... today!

Casuals took a 4-2 advantage to Turkey for the 2nd Leg Cup match and won 1-0 (5-2 aggregate), recent recruit striker Liam Cashman opening his Casuals account with the only goal of the game in the 41st minute. Goalkeeper Zoltan Bieder made his 100th appearance for the Casuals yesterday, but reserved his celebration for today when he received the Man-of-the-Match award.

In the League, Casuals visited the League's whipping boys and thrashed them 5-0. Left-winger Omar Hansen has just recovered from injury, and was on the bench for the Cup match, so was rested and raring to go for this match. So much so, he claimed all five goals, including a direct-free kick and a penalty, jumping to the top of the goal-scorer chart in one go.

Insulting negotiation offer of the week - I think I'll hang fire for a while and keep his tokens occupied:

Terriers had their matches in reverse order, and visited Turkey for a top-of-the-table League match, and claimed top spot with a 2-1 win over the previous holders. Xabier Moran (free-kick) and Ondrej Kadlec claimed the goals.

Terriers Cup 2nd Leg match was at home, and they already held a 3-0 advantage from the first leg against level 3 opposition. Moran continued on from the previous match and had a hat-trick under his belt before the end of the first-half, and was replaced in a double substitution at half-time. Nathan 'Shoot-on-Sight' Masegela and Kadlec each scored one in the second-half for a final score of 5-0 (8-0 aggregate).

Desert Rats FC lost their 2nd Leg Cup match to Level 2 opponents 1-2 (2-3 aggregate), Taylor keeping up his impressive scoring run with the Rats goal; later on they drew their away league match 0-0.

Any formation or tactics advice given is based purely on experience with my teams...

2:2 draw in the cup, enough to advanced to the 3rd round and I don't have to pay out that win bonus. First 2 goals the defense has conceded this season, but it was also the only team we've faced that isn't abandoned so far.

Tommorrow champions league match, has us tied atop the group with 6 points. Ironically, the teams the loses this head to head battle might gain more than winner, as the winner looks to have two token buyers (combined 12 champions league titles) blocking their path to the final.

    What a Cup win today!

My opponent had won the first leg 1:2, with two away goals in my stadium and I thought I was in trouble. He has a very strong defensive line that includes a couple of scouts.

He tasted my team's firepower in the return leg, though

    Thanks.
What did you and your opponent use for the first match?

His formation was the same. I however got rid of the force counters and swapped a few players.

    Danke!

He had a 5-3-2 and his midfielders were wide.

Did you force counter attacks down the flanks?
