My player gets injured from spitting????

Just had a league match and in the 71st minute one of the opposition gets a red card from spitting on one of my players. In the exact same minute of the match one of my players get injured. Coincidence? I don't think so.

I have seen this too. A player spits on another player, and the victim 'looks to be injured' and 'cannot continue the game'.

maybe it landed in his eye and he couldn't see well enough to continue. at least he wasn't bitten.
