It's simply really:

1. Buy Level x8 players (every one else is fighting for level x9 players)
2. Farm for packs on ios, android, pc and facebook.
3. Let your players heal naturally
4. Rotate your squad
5. Have many friends to support you most of the time
6. Counter your opponents formation

The problem is you have to get used to staying up at the hour of demons (3.00am) to get the players you want for few tokens.
