Palace Casuals report for the last week (or so)...

As expected, Casuals bowed out of the Champions League after their 1-4 home defeat in the 1st Leg of the 'Top 16' Round, but they put up a spirited performance at their opponents ground and lost the 2nd Leg only 0-1, for a 1-5 aggregate score. The same day, they drew 3-3 at home in the League and were dumped into 8th place in the table. Then four wins on the trot, and some helpful results for their competition, saw them rise to 2nd place (get the oxygen out, friends!). Two losses against 3rd then 1st dumped them down in 5th again, and the League roller-coaster ride continued. The last two games against lower opposition were wins, including today's 4-1 win at 7th place, and back up the table they go...

Player landmarks have been few on the ground recently, but a couple of games ago, striker Liam Cashman reached 50 appearances for the Casuals...

Desert Rats report for the last week...

Desert Rats completed their Cup Quarter-Final win with a 2-0 victory at home for a 4-1 aggregate. In the Semi-Final, two 1-0 wins were enough to overcome a poorer but resilient team and book a place in the Final.

In the League, a 0-1 home defeat (definitely a Troll result against 12th in the table) and 0-2 against 2nd pushed them down the table a bit but a five match unbeaten run, including today's 2-2 draw at the League leaders, has seen the Rats rise to 4th in the table...

Palace Terriers report for the past week...

Champions League action saw Terriers complete their progression from the Top-16 Round with a 4-1 home win, with a weakened team, for a 12-1 aggregate. Quarter-Final action saw a 4-2 away win followed by a 4-1 win at home, 8-3 aggregate. The Semi-Final pitted Terriers against a fairly equal team, but they won a gritty away Leg 2-1, which set them up with a relatively easy home Leg, which they won 3-1 to progress to the Final 5-2 on aggregate.

In the League, Terriers have been overcoming all who face them, as long as they aren't above them in the table. Safe in the promotion zone, the gap to 4th is too large to overcome so they will have to forego Champions League action next season.

A coupe of recent inductees into the Terriers 50 club, firstly right-winger Julien van der Plas and then central midfielder Stanislav Dolgoborodov.

The tension is rising and rising. FC Knudde's first real shot at the treble is getting closer. Both CL and Cup finals are reached and quality wise FC Knudde is the strongest team. We reached second spot in the league with only 1 point behind the number one who will face the number 3 in the last round. Lets hope I don't make any mistakes and number one spills some points.

FC Killroy is League winner already. With 16 points ahead nothing can go wrong. A new season best has been established with 107 goals and a positive score of +100 goals. Champions league final reached. If I become 1-1-3 (L/CL/Cup) then it has been a very good season.
    FC Knudde:
    Seasons: 46
    League won: 33
    CL won: 10
    Cup won: 4

    FC Killroy:
    Seasons: 32
    League won: 20
    CL won: 6
    Superleague: 3
    Cup won: 7

    Report of the week:

La Morralla FS: Near to main goal, now are 7th, selling lots of players (with bidding wars included, thanks!!!) and buying someones to start new season better than this.

Jose FC: Out of CL, now are 1st on League with same points of 2nd, close to win the title

Viva Satan FC: Pass to CL final 1st in his history and 1st in League 4 points over the 2nd, close to win his 1st title in his history, good job boys.

Leage level 1 won, Cup-final reached, supposed opponent a bot robot of 12 quality. What happens? A take over from Uruguay, a few new players and the outcome of the cup-final becomes open indeed.

Pfff, what a cup final. FC Knudde is all psyched. There is a chance to win this. My level 17 105Q against a level 18 106,5Q team. There is a chance. Lets hope for the best. The game starts. First comment, your star MC is injured. Sigh. Serious? Ok replace with MC. 8 minutes later my replacement MC scores 1-0. Yessssss!!! At 45 minutes I am still 1-0 ahead. Good. Second half starts. Within a few minutes "Your star STR is injured". Sigh. Replace him, quickly! 1-1. Damnnnnnnn.... Still going strong. We are so equal it is scary. I get another good chance. No goal. Another one, no goal. He gets a corner and he scores 1-2. NOOOOOOOOO!!!! Still 10 minutes to go. Yes my AMR gets a good chance, but..... his keeper is very sure and gets the ball. Whistle blows. End of the game.

Ok there goes my chance at a treble. My first serious chance. Oh well, next season I hope.

Teda lost cup final 0:1 with a conceded goal at 81 min.

No problem, come back next season.
