League update: Red Bull Leipzig 1-3 FC Kneipenkick (0-2)
Today we travelled to the Eastern part of Germany to face RB Leipzig. In RL the club exists (leads 4th devision East thanks to Red Bull millions) and is named RasenBallsport Leipzig, because club name sponsoring is forbidden in Germany since about 25 years.
In my league RBL plays a 4-2DMC-AML-AMR-2ST. I thought at first that formation is illegal, but their manager Nina got normal possession stats (worst thus far 40-60) and also some good results (currently 7th). I interpreted the formation as a 4-2-2-2 hexagon and fielded a 4-4-2 classic. Purt (5.) and Afriyie (23.) made it quickly 2-0, but then my players tried to many distance shots and they were all blocked by the opponents DMC's. After 73 minutes RBL came up front, got a FK and Aubert (already with 9 goals in the league) scored, 1-2. I feared the match engine could screw me once more and brought with Kunz and Fathi additional scout quality (they were rested for the CL later). But neither of them decided the match, it was Rasch with a distance shot (84.), finally one was not blocked, 1-3. In minute 85 Mosqueda got an injury, but luckily this time we did not get screwed in the last minutes and lead the league, no matter what the other teams do later on today.

About Mosqueda I will have to use red packs, because my other ML Abdel Aal is already injured.

I love it when I see a player do that... Unfortunately you only see this in the lower levels.

    League, Matchday 9

Real Madrid CF 0 - 8 New Team

Another crushing victory away for Coach Mad's Eleven. A match to be considered closed after the first 45 minutes, during which the power play expressed by New Team's diamond midfield created a huge number of occasions. The overlapping Bruce Harper, in the usual way, gets served by Oliver Hutton near the goal and taps the 0-1 (6'). After a lil skirmish near the area, Hutton decides to let all out with a power play ending in a marvellous shoot under the bar, 0-2 (36'). Right after is the young gun Rob Denton which tries and succeeds in imitating his idol Hutton: Harper's overlap, magnificent cross for him and header right on the keeper's left. (45')
In the second half it's just showdown, with Mr. Mad giving rest to Hutton (upcoming CL match) and getting in Danny Mellow: the young AMC doesn't miss his chanche by one bit, expressing an incredible soccer; and after the 0-4 by DIamond (50',served by Denton), the ladder scorer gets a pass through the defense which the AMC shoots in (51') and again is ready when Becker reaches him (59'). On 0-6 score, there is still space for New Team's captain, the DC callaghan, to show off. On the first incursion in the opponent's half he serves Lenders for the 0-7 (65'), while on the second occasion he reaches the goal line and crosses for the upcoming Mellow and the final 0-8, Mellow's Hat trick (86'). A stupid foul at minute 88 makes Harper miss the next game for sum of yellow cards.

CL in 2 hours, supporters and the whole team are fired up!

Bakuretsu Storm barely manages to win away with the 4th in leaderboard by 0-1. With it the goal difference between them and NT is almost tied up. Tomorrow the BIG showdown with New Team vs Bakuretsu Storm!

NASA: The rocket is due to land on Mars in a few mins time, containing 18 July Fourth players for the away game to be played at 38% gravity of earths, so that means the ball will be hit higher in the air and will take longer to fall down. Since a day on mars lasts 24 hours and 40 mins, the half length of the game of standard 45 mins has been extended to 46 mins and 15 seconds to make it 45 mins you get on earth, temperatures on this game are expected to be around 5 degress centigrade since we are close to the equator for this game so players wont be too cold since this is about the same temperature thats in London right now!
