It's still going to be hard to avoid the higher levels. There's always going to be higher level teams with low averages and they can easily get back on track with a few scout or 5* players buys. I also think if you get your average down to a certain level, you might bump into a scout/scout buyer.

Same with me.. Lowest in mine is a level 7 which means I must have one of the highest averages in my level, if I get it down to a 5* average, I'll get dumped with 5* teams in my level along with 4* teams in the level above or even 3* teams 2 levels above

Yes but I know that its difficult to avoid the higher levels but even keeping the quality down by say 5 points at end season, then at least I have a better chance compared to no artificially lowering my squad quality, 100 quality cup contained mostly L17/L18 players, If I get my quality round the 100 mark again at end season at least I will play against L17/L18 next season rather than L18/L19 while being L17.

I'm not gonna exploit the cup format. I'm not to bothered by it at the moment. I see it more as just extra income if I progress. Otherwise its a good chance to rest up players or play friendlies to help boost some players.

I am disappointed my AMC I signed is a slow trainer. I want a fast training one so I can train up well. I am focusing on retraining Phil Jones into a DMC so he is more versatile and then I can sell Carrick as he will be 29 next season.

I don't really want to exploit the cup format either but my quality is more than 10 points above average for a L16 team. So I need to drag it down to improve my chances next season, As least I can enjoy playing in it rather than complaining about it being a heavy token buyer in the last 3 1/2 seasons.

I ended up enjoying my cup run and was so unlucky to not get further in it

I wonder if it now being Saturday the videos are cut short on weekends, I will try again a bit later before going to sleep.

Cup game, 1-1 going into the away leg. Never going to be easy. Guess it's just all out attack then. Starting 4-3N-2-1 with attacking then going to change that to the 3-5-2 V mid game.
