OK. I played one game today in league using 451V and I won. I used the same formation 451V and same players.

One winger scored a goal, another one assisted one and the ST made it, so three attackers all contributed something important. in terms of the rating, the winger assisted one goal was 8, other 2s are 7.

I will keep using this formation, not only because this is the best combination I can have at this point, but also because I do not have other options. I have a descent team, but the embarrassing thing is that I only have one good ST, which was trained to 7 star, one winger 7 star, another winger close to 7 star - this is my attacking group. other than this, I do not have other good combinations, as I tested others, they don't work well. I cannot simply change 451V to 4141flat because my wingers are AMC/AML/AMR, so this is another reason I have to stick with 451V.

If I can get a very good ST, then I might be able to try narrow diamond, because one of my best wingers is not that stable. Anyway, I am still testing my team, and the formation; and I realized that if you want to use 451V, the key is the front 3 guys, they must be good, very good, which is not always true; if I can have another better ST or winger, I will be more confident.

Yeah it's really weird, i did never have any season like this.. don't know what's going on as for now my ST has scored 24 goals and both wingers got 28 (11 & 17). Previouse seasons i had my wingers scoring twice as much as my ST.. but not now
p.s: I did play Normal Mentality, Down both flanks, High pressing, Easy tackling, mixed passing, Zonal marking, on Offside & counter attacks.

For me it's in the top5 moments of the game (speaking generally) .
In a very balanced game, my player (came as a sub), scored from a free-kick in the last minute - yoohoo

I get matches like that. Having used 4-5-1V defensive, etc., in about 60% of the matches played, I find that either the wingers get all the goals/assists, or the striker(s) score the goals, but still the wingers chip in with the assists. In the former instance the striker is there as nuisance value - the wingers are the key to the formation - who scores the goals is immaterial, as long as we score more than the opposition...

Yeah, I agree. Actually yesterday I just trained one of my wingers to 7 stars and the ST to 7 stars, and today the winger performed the important role although the ST did not.

Another interesting thing is that if my team + Beckstar's team we might be able to make 10:0 to an opponent like his or mine, because all the positions for his low rated players are good ratings on my end and vice versa. This is amazing!

Palace teams report, Thursday... only three matches today, as all teams now have no interest in the Cup.

Palace Terriers were first up today with a home League match, and continued their goal-happy form as they trounced their visitors 7-0, temporarily going to the top of the table. After a long period of stalemate, Julien van der Plas got the Terriers onto the score sheet first in the 39th minute, and four minutes later, Luis Fernando Peralta was given an opportunity from the penalty spot after Eko Sinegal was injured by a professional foul in the area, and he didn't miss. Two minutes after the break, MoM Stanislav Dolgoborodov increased the lead, and goals from GK Jayantha Ahamed, Zdenek Krajca, Dolgoborodov again and a debut goal from new striker Waldemar Sanchez completed the scoring.

Palace Casuals were involved in a bottom of the table clash and lost 0-2 away.

Desert Rats FC were also away, and won 2-0 with goals from striker Lorcan Ivory and MoM defender James Broomes.

Late news: Palace Terriers Management announced tonight that as part of a paring-down of resources, the following players have been released to other clubs. Although all three had been with the club since the early days of the first season, they have had very much been on the periphery of things for the past season and they have been reluctantly released to pursue their careers elsewhere:

Amazing how many tokens this game can take. Buying a couple of scouts, thats already 133 tokens. Bidding on 10 players up until round 3 and giving up on them - that is another 40 tokens. Guess now I have to be satisfied with my group and save tokens for a couple of seasons and never again buy scouts (one of them very good, one of them not so good actually).

Save your tokens, don't buy Scouts its a waste, buy on auction instead much better bang for bucks IMO
