Desert Rats FC played an early morning home match against the basement club in the League, and won 5-0, thus ensuring promotion in a Champions League slot for next season. Scores were level until the 26th minute, when Albert O'Toole was injured, and fellow striker Lorcan Ivory rammed home the resulting free-kick for the opening goal of the match, and registering the Rats 100th competitive goal for the season. Four minutes later, Ivory turned provider when he crossed for defender Quique Roca to head in from short range. In the second half, Plamen Atanasov raced down the right wing, cut in and slotted the ball past the 'keeper and Markus Hammes got onto the end of a right wing cross from Atanasov to slot in the 4th goal. In the 77th minute, Hammes lost his midfield partner Jose Carlos Matias to injury, and he was on hand to head in the free-kick from Ivory to finish the scoring.
Palace Terriers played away mid-afternoon against 5th in the table and after a tight game, prevailed with a 2-0 victory which leaves them needing a win on the last day for the Championship. Having had a couple of sighters from free-kicks in the first half, right-back Rui Pinhal finally got one past the home 'keeper in the 51st minute for the first goal of the game. 15 minutes later, midfielder Bojan Milosavljevic chanced a pile driver from 30 yards out and it flew into the net, scoring the Terriers 100th competitive goal for the season and clinching the match.
