Today another defeat in LEAGUE, away by 1:0
We are confortable in 12th place with 6points.
No worryes! Next season Will be time to rebuilt!
Out of cup 4-3 agg too many free kicks killed us plus I went normal tackling and 4 bookings
Those last seasons we have the disease of the strikers.Quote:
Does any of you have a better striker then mine?
Most of them getting 7 and not scoring.
If you see the TM ,it's full of them. Also if you see the 5 top scorers, you can see 1, max two ST there.
Something changed in the game.
Few seasons before, we had the disease of MCs. They got only 6s but know they 're doing ok.
@ Dman2pt
forgot to tell about your legend.
When I power train a player, I keep him a couple of days out of the games. It seems (from my experience) that hard training and injury/healing affects the performance.
The harder and most uncertain league I ever had :p

started with two defeats but getting better.
I won the 1st but lost from the 13th position team :(
Palace teams report, Day 10 - Super Tuesday...
Palace Casuals had a home Cup 2nd Leg match, and they were getting quite used to playing their opponents, as it was the third time in three days, the previous two results being away draws. The visitors took the lead in the 4th minute, but it all fell apart for them nine minutes later. An edge-of-the-box incident was adjudged to have taken place inside the area, and Joao Azevedo made no mistake with the penalty kick, and on the stroke of half-time, Azevedo turned provider as his corner kick was headed in by Juan Manuel Ramirez for his debut goal in Casuals colours. In the second half, the hosts definitely were in the ascendancy, and the pressure paid off after 69 minutes when Mohamed Monney became the third player to score a debut goal in this match (Azevedo being the first) when he finished off a move started by Philip Deery. Jorge Contera finished off the match with a goal 10 minutes from time to make the score 4-1 (5-2 on aggregate).
Palace Terriers played a home League match and made it 8 out of 8 with a comfortable 3-0 win. Having played a containment game in the first half, the home side came out after the break and could have got a double digit score but for the nine saves made by the visitors' 'keeper. Bojan Milosavljevic, Alex Bailey and Eko Sinegal were the scorers.
Palace Casuals League match was at home against 3rd in the table, and a tight defensive display kept the rampant visitors at bay, Philip Deery slotting home a cross after Mario Dinamarca counter-attack surge in the 69th minute for the only goal of the match.
Palace Terriers went away to a significantly stronger side in the 2nd Leg of the Cup and emulated their senior team with an equally effective defensive action. Zdenek Krajca provided the only goal of the game seven minutes from time, Terriers winning the tie 2-1 on aggregate. Right-winger Julien van der Plas made his 100th appearance in this match.

I'm eliminated in cup by losing 6:4 aggregate. Cup is getting crazier every season as my team gets stronger. I matched a team that 4 level beyond me
United
great morning shopping. hoping that he will perform :o

About the striker disease, I play 4-2-2-2 hexagon mostly. I noticed my wingers were scoring like mad but my 7 star striker did do nothing. I changed the formation to 1 striker and now both my strikers are scoring again. If you have 2 wingers, do not use 2 strikers is all I can say based on my experiences.
Doing great this season in league and ch. league, out of cup tho :/

Won league game 2-1
Had some bad results two days ago the team wasn't performing so got a bit annoyed asking why, so yesterday things back to normal got rid of some rotten apples, and they
got in to next round of the cup with another fine win against a two levels higher team, still top of the league one defeated so far.

Palace teams report, Day 11 Wednesday...
In the Level 5 League it was 2nd vs 1st and the 100% record remains intact, Palace Terriers winning 2-1 to stretch their lead to 5 points. The match was fairly evenly fought until the last 5 minutes of the first half, when Tony Meikle and Carlos Pineda scored twice in three minutes to give the visitors the lead at the break. In the second half, normal service resumed, and although the home side pulled one back 10 minutes from the end, Terriers hung on for the three points. Stanislav Dolgoborodov played his 100th game for the Terriers in this match.

Palace Casuals were also away at 2nd place in their League, but the result was completely different. Casuals held their own until a penalty incident in the 52nd minute enabled the home side to take the lead from the spot, and with 13 minutes to play, they increased the lead, defeating Casuals 0-2.
Palace Terriers' Champions League campaign is well and truly back on track as they recorded a 2-0 away win to go top of the Group and guarantee progression to the Knockout stage. On the half-hour, striker Tony Meikle was injured in a tackle and Rui Pinhal despatched the free-kick to give Terriers the lead. In the second half, the home side seemed to have a 'foul-a-striker' session, substitute Ben Atkins being targetted on several occasions, from one of which Pinhal netted the free-kick to give Terriers the win and the points.
We start the day with an easy win 9-0 in the Champions League.

Very frustrating league game. We conceded a goal and then THE GK GETS INJURED (THE GOALKEPPER, COME ON MAN). So i have to sub-on a 1 star GK. We scored two fast goals to put us 2-1 but we couln't hold on with such low level GK and we only got a draw at the end.
Attachment 56296Attachment 56297
Yesterday must have been the goal keeper injury day then. Mine was also injured very early in the match. I had however a 5 star goalie as a substitute. This is however only the third time if I recall correctly that a GK was injured in my team in 20 seasons.
Won league game. 5-3 with a player sent off
A easy win today. We started in the season with match 4. We were in place 13. Now we are in place 4

Fooling the cup draw has made the cup rather, umm... boring. Outscored opponents by a combined margin of 35-2 so far in the cup.
Cruising along in the league to the tune of a 10-0-0 mark, 6 points clear of 2nd. Low quality got both a weaker cup and weak league. To be fair there are 4 other squads then have 5* quality among their starting 11 in the league. But there aren't any 4* teams and maybe one or two 3* teams, making the bottom of the league very weak.
Won champions league group yesterday, with a 6-4 away win over 2nd. Didn't expect to see a goalfest in a match against a 5* team (107.5 opponent avg Q), where I was using hard defending. Happy to get the win, since a loss would have seen us even at 10 points and since he had an away goal at my place, would have made the KO round draw more daunting.
I'm so angry. I lost 0-1 at home the first leg of the cup. I had a lot of chances, two headears from corners, i hit the post 2 times, gis GK was man of the match. There's nothing i can do now, only go and try to win the second leg.
Later i have the league match. If i get a good result i will post pictures, but for now im really angry
Palace teams report, Day 12 - Super Thursday...
Palace Terriers played their second game in two days against their nearest League challengers, this time at home to 3rd place, and they extended their current unbeaten run (in all competitions) to 10 wins out of 11 with a 4-0 win. After their by-now characteristic slow containment start, two goals in two minutes late in the first half by Stanislav Dolgoborodov and Zdenek Krajca set them on the road to success. Krajca added a second after the break and Julien van der Plas hit a late one to complete the scoring.

Three hours later, Terriers kicked off their latest Cup round with a home 1st Leg. This time they got a relatively early start, Waldemar Sanchez, recently recovered from injury, had his first start and continued his scoring streak by slotting home the opener after good work by Zdenek Krajca. Half-way through the second half, recent Youth team graduate central defender Ben Smith got on the score sheet for the first time when he arrived late in the box to head home a Rui Pinhal free-kick, and after the visitors had pulled a goal back from a corner, Krajca made another assist when he made a touchline run and cross, which Julien van der Plas helped into the net.
Palace Casuals were at home in the League, and they kept their unbeaten home record intact with a tight 2-1 win against a side two places higher in the table. Half-way through the second half, central midfielder Paul Clayton kept the Youth team reputation high with a magnificent header to finish off a Philip Deery left-wing run, and ten minutes later, capped off his MoM performance by turning provider for Juan Manuel Ramirez. The visitors scored a consolation goal at the death, but the Casuals victory was by then assured.
Attachment 56324
For the second round running, Casuals were pitted against a fellow League team in the Cup, and for this home 1st Leg match were gunning for revenge for a 0-2 reverse at their opponents' ground just yesterday. Mario Dinamarca provided the early shock factor, going close with a 30 yard drive in the first minute, and then on the next attack, powering through the defence only to pass at the last moment for Martin Kozak to fire home the first goal. As with the League match, the game then stagnated a bit until half-way through the second-half, when MoM Dinamarca was given the opportunity from a dead-ball situation after a foul on the edge of the box. His free-kick curled round the wall and left the visitors' 'keeper stranded as it flew into the net. The rest of the match was a determined rear-guard action as the Casuals defence stood firm against a powerful opposition attack, protecting the lead for a 2-0 win.
PS: Nothing to do with the Palace teams but I sure would like to know the story behind this match a couple of days ago in Terriers' League...
Attachment 56325
The only explication that i could think is that the first red card was a free kick. Then it was a cross and another foul or a touch with the hand. Very strange situation and extremy unlucky for the manager.
Finaly i got a good result in the league. Important victory at home, now we are still 9 points behind the leader, but only one of 4th position. For now, the objective is to qualify to the next Champions League. However, i can't get away from injuries. This time one of my ST at 5'. Very annoying.
Attachment 56326Attachment 56327
Lost a game on the cup and had a draw in the league against a middle table team, things not really working as it used to, maybe time to change something as the season is already worse than the previous one, plus to help android app is freezing all the time not letting me watch the whole game and make some changes when is necessary.
