Season 72 - Week 3

Took a few seasons off from paying too much attention as I was getting bored. Team didn't achieve much in that time, excent when I did log in to train them every few days to increase quality.

Back into it this season and after only getting passed the first round once in 5 attempts in the cup we are now in the final. Third in the league but have lost 2 in the last 3 to be 6 points off top spot.

Our striker is top scorer and third in the assists chart and our defence has performed best in the league. Our top scorer is also only .1 away from top spot in the ratings so a few more goals to finish the season should see him clinch that too.

The one beef I have is that my cup final is only separated by a 3 hours from a league game and I can't reschedule my league game for some reason.

Other than that It was nice to take a break from this game for a month or two and come back and start almost fresh.

A easy win today. But what was important today is that we now are 3 points behind the nr 1.

It's getting excited the last rounds. Today the nr 4 play against nr 5 and tomorrow play the nr 1 against the nr 5

How has this happened :')

Played against 8th. The guy gets a player sent off, I score and concede late to draw. Alright, it happens but 20 shots 4 on target and 0 saved!! Do they have a poltergeist in goal?!

To top it off I am now losing 1st place on goal difference to a team with an unbelievable turn around.

This is why I can't get bored of this game. I have an impossible challenge for semi final losing 2-1 and now I need to try go unbeaten and knock him off top spot.

Last night i was very active in the market, since i Will not promote.

6 New players for 1T each, lost 1 player, but only lost 2T. 2 MCs, 2MLs and 2MRs

Just sack the 2 free players i got in the beggining of season, sold my sub MR.

And finaly sack my sub MC, got it from academy 15 seasons ago, was about to retire at the end of the season.



Still need to get 2 more spots, but my main ML and MR Will retire at the end of the season, so i can wait!

The game is getting sillier with the minute. Last 11 games for me is now 4 wins, 2 ties and 5 losses and somehow I am still second? That was how far ahead I was before the form crisis. This game again low numbers on players that have been getting great scores over several seasons. Last game was a tie and I get double the shots and shots on target but somehow his team is better in ratings? How? I can understand it when the defense is better but his attack was better then mine. Crazy stuff I tell you and still have to face the number 1. The tension is rising.

My sub team is just doing great. CL finale and propably league winner. Can still go wrong but I have to loose 2 games in a row. Matches are against the number 4,5 and 7. My advisary is up against the number 3 and 4 though.

The Champions League dream is over!

I drew the 2nd leg 2-2 to go out 3-4 on agg.

Losing an early lead I almost took it to extra time but fate would have it, they score 0.5 seconds after my goal. (Probably while my squad was in the corner celebrating)

I battled against a division or 2 above me and made it far so I guess Semi finals is an over achievement. Now to battle it out for the league.
