What if a Cup tie was a one-legged affair?

If that happened, then we have to play only 7 matches to win it. It will reduce injury rate. In that case we can make the draw level based (where lower level managers have home advantage), 1vs 2, 3vs4, etc. draw can be like that. Anyhow, the cup would be harder to win.

I thought about this since I have only 6 defenders. I generally play 5-4-1 at home cup and 4-2-2-2 in league. I means 2 of my defenders must play everyday. I had one injured, recovered on Day 7, that means each of my defenders had to play every other day. With only one game every 4th day it may reduce player fatigue.

then how do i pay for wages especially at higher level`s if only 1 game and i play away i get NO gate money so they would have increase prize money dramatically

spornybol, we can give the prize of both matches at once. In round 1 level 3, gate receipt is 60k/match. So 120k in the tie. So we can offer 120k in the lone match.

I`m level 28 and wages is 28.9 million take away Daily sponsorship and i`m still 25.5 million down, my prize money for cup ( playoff ) is 11.9 million even if add both for 1 game i`m still not paying wages so this where 2 games comes in as i get Gate money to put me over and pay for wages

The injury rate problem can simply be solved by a change to the games programming code. Of course, that change will never happen.

1.At a neutral ground
2. Like the FA cup, a random draw for home advantage. If match drawn then replayed at the other stadium. Basically we play the 2nd leg of the cup if necessary.
