What if a Cup tie was a one-legged affair?

I don't know if it used to be so, started playing TE on sept. 2015. What's your opinion?
If that happened, then we have to play only 7 matches to win it. It will reduce injury rate. In that case we can make the draw level based (where lower level managers have home advantage), 1vs 2, 3vs4, etc. draw can be like that. Anyhow, the cup would be harder to win.

I thought about this since I have only 6 defenders. I generally play 5-4-1 at home cup and 4-2-2-2 in league. I means 2 of my defenders must play everyday. I had one injured, recovered on Day 7, that means each of my defenders had to play every other day. With only one game every 4th day it may reduce player fatigue.
