Palace Terriers got a selection this morning - the usual suspects - all STs...

Still don“t explain why there is a 50 token difference though ?
i had...i got MC/AMC this season...and two days ago...the second set...GK (but i didn't got it...cause i already have two 7 stars GK -.-)...
i have seen DL/DML also...but i never use DL or DR ~ so... LOL and so far i got two AMR/ST... one AMC/ST and one MC/AMC in my team...i think each season has about 3-4 set recommend....but 79 token is too expensive...so.... can't get all.... if that is 29 or 39...i may get several more...(at least i want a AML ... cause right now my sub (is from U21) ...is not that fit at all...)

In my opinion, they are expensive token-wise, but 10 tokens more but without the 'market value transfer fee' for a younger and possibly faster trainer (and an apparently proved player) as compared to those priced at (T69 + market value) on the scouts' page might be a better option. But with 79T, provided that there is enough transfer money reserve, a whole team consisting of five-star and close-to-six star players, can be built.
Where do these recommended players come from? Their statistics are displayed but there is no information about the teams.
Possibilities
(1) Fake statistics.
(2) Bot teams.
Suppose that a player does come from a team, then it would more likely be from a bot team as a user-managed team would have the option of rejecting the offer which does not seem to be in here.

On overall, none of them are worth it. But if I had to get one in-between those three players, it would be the third one (3rd P > 1st P > 2ndP); the special ability of the 2nd player lowers its desirability. Based on this list only, 3rd P > Scout List STs >1st P >2nd P. Would I buy any of them if I don't intend to buy from the scouts' list? No. So, briefly, this option is like an added option for scout's-list users.
They are just generated /made up players like the scout players but younger & easier to train up.
What would ever make you think they came from a "real" team ?
& overall they are worth it :)
But then, the statistics are fake and are probably not reliable. There are strong indications that they are fake; for instance, there is a trend in the ratio goals:assists, and in the number of yellow cards.
I have said that there is a possibility for the players to come from bot teams as some bot teams on the level of the current team I am managing, have 6-star players with special abilities.
Why do you think on overall, they are worth it?
They are worth it because any of them I have bought for my teams have turned out to be excellent :) The one to buy is the 19 year old highest price
The problem is the variation of players recommended
On the whole, I've been pleased with my recommendation purchases, mainly players with ST role, as at the time that the recommended players were introduced, strikers were so cr*p at doing their job. I could see the machinations in Nordeus' mind - 'let's make STs useless then give the managers a way of getting good ones for more T'...
Palace Casuals have made more use of them, all the high-T (right-hand) players (in order of purchase):

On one occasion a purchase was made of the middle player, but although he played well the first season, he flopped in the next, so he was offloaded (thus confirming Bunzo's recommendation).
Palace Terriers have one (again the high-T (right-hand) player):

Thanks for the feedback. It seems that their performances do drop after a season or two, despite being young players and fast trainers; a typical Nordeus tactic.
So far, not very convincing as you can still get close too, equally, and even better performing players from both the auction market and the scouts' list. The main advantages is not having to pay the transfer market value fee, and avoiding the hassle of keeping an eye on the transfer market very frequently for particular players.
Only if they're there and you can win an auction - at the time I was buying the first ones for Palace Casuals there was a dearth of suitable players in the market and the ones that did get there were subject to auction frenzy and went for ridiculous prices in very high round counts...
I've found that the performances actually increase, especially if you have three that play off each other, as Palace Casuals do.
Yes, that are the disadvantages. That are the risks of the transfer market. First, the right players must be listed (something that I had trouble with last year, and I had to make use of the scouts list), you must be there when they are listed, and you have to win the bids. The scouts and recommendation lists might be more convenient, but there is also the negociations' list.
If it was during the period when I was here last year, maybe I would have bought some of those recommended players. Such players, albeit tempting, don't fit in my plans now, as so far, from what I have seen, the ratio benefit:cost is poor when considering that you can achieve more or less the same in terms of winning competitions with cheaper alternatives (when I mean cheap, this means no power training included as this option turned out to be even more expensive). If 'free' earn-token offers were available in my region and I was able to earn enough tokens, may be I would have added a few recommendation players to my team. In my opinion, this new feature will provide something extra for users who intend or have to use the scouts' list.
Of course, for those users who have been generally satisfied with recommended players and can afford using a lot tokens per player, they may do so until they are no longer satisfied, can no longer afford them or no longer feel the need for them.
After 20 times in a row, my assistant propose me again 3 GK.
i bought one, i hope now that he don't propose me a GK ever again :D
well...i think my scout AMR has more goal from my recommend AMC...and my action AML has more goal to my both AMC/ST and AMR/ST recommend player.... the only thing my AMR/ST has more is assist ...he has 10 in league so far-.- but only has 2 goal (i use as ST)....my AMC has only 5 goal in league...
my AML has 13 goal.... while my AMR has 11 goal in league ~
You have to consider corner takers, free-kick takers and penalty takers. Those who takes corners are likely to have better assists and those who take free-kicks are likely to have more goals with a small boost in assist. Similarly, the player who usually takes penalties will have a boost in goals. Removing all 'dead-ball' boosts will give you a better idea on how do the players compare in open play.
:)
well... yes...i know... my AMC/ST (use as AMC) and my AMR/ST (use as ST) both has corner skill... and my scout AMR has free-kick...
but my highest scorer is my AML...which from action... he only has one-one-one skill (cause he can play ST/ML/AML...) and i saw most of the score he got is not from corner ....( i watched 90% of the matches)
Possibilities
He did not have a backup GK; so he bought one from the transfer market.
He bought 1-2 GKs from the transfer market to satisfy the system's need for him to buy a GK.
He trained his GK and upped his rating by one star.
He sold his apparently non-reliable GK, and replaced it with a better-rated GK.
(He reported the situation (repetitive GK recommendations) as harassment to the appropriate authorities. :p)
Back to gk again wtf
A usual comment that is used to be seen on the net: 'can they do it on a cold night in Stoke?' :p
By the way, real life records has no place in this game and vice versa as they are way too different, especially for those cases where you see teams, especially abandonned teams or 'tankers' having up to 11 players put out of position, and even worst including 2-3 Gks in critical positions such as CB or CM.
The recommendations feature would be better if there was support for demand. For e.g, say like the following.
manager input: can you find me a ST/AMC/AMR
a few days later, as output: ST/AMC, ST/AMR, ST/AMC/AMR
Of course, there should be a limit, say a maximum of 2-3 requests per season, but the recommendations should still continue to work but as they are now (randomly or on whatever way).
