Day 27 - Palace Casuals report.

First of two away matches to complete the season, and Palace Casuals keep up their late-season unbeaten run with a 1-1 draw against a Championship place challenger. Kiril Rusev scored the Casuals goal on the stroke of half-time. Goalkeeper Jose Maria Rojo mode his 100th appearance in this match.



Palace Terriers update:

It was 5th vs 3rd in the League, and 5th won 1-0 - Palace Terriers will finish second in the League this season, as 3rd are now four points behind and can no longer catch them...

Level 21 Team Beauty won today and overtook the 4th place from the opponent to end this league.



Season review for Level 21 Team

Result: League 4th, CL champion, Cup 1/16

This is an interesting season. Almost every league match was a interesting competition. My team finished in a reasonable position. The CL is easy and this help my team to grab the first CL trophy in 9 seasons.

There were significant player changes in this seasons. excluding the academy players, 17 new players were added while 13 of them remains in the roster at the end of season. The increase in quality ensure my team competitive in whole season but frequent player change affected consistency of the team.

As usual, the best players are AMR or AML no matter what qualities they have. AML/ML Panzeri scored 14 goals but was the best scorer of the team. AML/ML Cho had good performance in whole season. But he could not score until he suddenly scored a lot in last few matches and became the most important player in the decisive matches late in the season. Cho is also the MVP in this season (average rating 7.84 in 20 matches)

In league, my team has large disadvantage in qualities comparing with the top 3 in league, but also have slight advantage over most other teams. So 4th place finish is reasonable and satisfactory.




In CL, the team did not really face real challenge. It is the easiest CL we participated since very low levels.

Ok... metch just at the end of the T11 day... 1:51am and we need to do not loose for 5 goals to have the title, but of course I wanna win because I'm not agree and despite now the actual rule goes in my favour, I prefeer to give the titles by the rule of the goal average, not the goal differance, but, well... let's see what happen against a team that we won 1-5 in the 1st league leg.
