Just checked my league and oh wow, here I was thinking last season was bad. I have power trained my key players to 6 stars almost. I have an advanced striker and somehow there are only 3 players in my league with less quality. Aiaiai this is going to be hard. Most of the teams have 2-3 quality on me. The guy I am facing in the first match is a good candidate for winning this league with 3 more quality on me and every player has a SA and is 6 or 7 stars almost. The tension is building up

My semi-abandoned(maybe) Level 21 team will face 3 FC Barcelona in this season.

    Season 73 - Week 3-12243039_10206602886683438_7739099435135979632_n.jpg

I faced one of these 3 FC Barcelona for several times in league and CL. It's very strong. Again, its quality is about 5q above my team. My team is not possible to match its consistency in close 26 league matches. So there is very small chance to win the league again in this season. However, for head to head competition with this team, my team usually have favorable result. My hard defending can always counter this team and then make use of inconsistency of its GK to steal victories. Head to head matches with it are some of my best memories in this game.

Sadly, in this league, there are 2 more teams with similar qualities with the aforesaid FC Barcelona. Even if I will still involve actively, I am afraid that it is not easy to break into top 3.

My league has some much more harder teams this season which is what I wanted, strange though, half the teams are good and half are really bad, lucky today I started with a bad one and won my opening game 0-6, but for sure this season will be much tougher.

After having a quick look at my LEAGUE, i am without dought the underdog, all the teams are between 3 to 6 points Q higher, but 4 of them are abandoned.
But in the first 11 the diference is bigger!

Promotion is possible, but top4 i think is out of range.
Half of my team is young, so i Will keep the training and i have the stronguest ST in LEAGUE.

Try to invite those teams from Balcans to be your friends, it is more likely to be in your LEAGUE that way.

Looks like it was a tight game Wiesse apart from the possession, my game was early too at 6.17am, I just stayed up all night as I was up late anyway to see my league.

    CL Group round 1

Man o Man, what a hard game was it. I had trouble to find the right orders. They scored from a penalty. In the last 10 minutes I switched the passing through the flanks and hard attacking and we scored the winning goal. Lucky for us.

Day 3 - Palace Casuals report.

After the Cup debacle, the Management decided to lighten the playing squad, and right-back Sergey Fetisov, midfielder Paul Clayton and striker Konstantin Kirchev were released, taking the squad down to 17 players.

The overnight League draw seems to have been kind to the Casuals, they find themselves one of the stronger sides in a League full of ftp (failed to promote) teams, tankers and other ne'er-do-wells. [5* = 145.0-149.9]

    Season 73 - Week 3-s29-l26-league-initial.jpg

The first game was away against Arsenal FC, and the Casuals produced a great performance in a 4-0 win, all goals being scored in the first half. A 7th minute opener from left-midfielder Juan Manuel Ramirez set them on the way, and after midfielder and club captain for this season Mario Dinamarca lashed home a loose ball from a free-kick, fellow-midfielder Miguel Saez produced a MoM-earning double strike. Casuals coasted through the second half to earn a first League win of the season.

I suppose I had to take this - bearing in mind previous seasons, probably the only chance I'll have:

    Season 73 - Week 3-s29-l26-league-round-1-top.png

The performance of strikers is causing particular angst at the moment - Casuals two (remaining) strikers are both 6* and are producing pitiful performance ratings this season.

    9 Philip Deery 6.4 6.4 6.5 (last season average rating was 6.93, 27 appearances, 5 goals, 5 assists)
    16 Mehmet Serif 6.4 6.4 6.6 (last season average rating was 6.76, 20 appearances, 2 goals, 2 assists)

Previous strikers have been similarly poor (recently released Kirchev was rating 7.07), having tried them in various combinations, singly and in pairs, last season and failed to find a successful formation, I will probably have to use them in single-striker formations for their nuisance value and let the wingers and midfielders do the work of creating and scoring...
Any formation or tactics advice given is based purely on experience with my teams...
