Day 5 - Palace teams report.

Up at the crack of dawn for Terriers' League match, everything played by lunchtime...

Palace Terriers travelled Indonesia early to play the best team in the League, Quality-wise, and the 'Assistant Manager' quote at the end was "To come out of this match with a point was a pleasant surprise". Yielding 2.8Q to their opponents, Terriers made them work hard for every opportunity, but were hit by the first minute after half-time sucker-punch to go one behind. Zdenek Krajca picked up an injury to further add to the visitors problems, but they kept plugging away and eventually their efforts bore fruit when Julien van der Plas hit a 30 yard effort which left the 'keeper stranded. This prompted a last 7 minute frenzy by the home side to try and bag a winner but the Terriers defence held firm.

Palace Casuals' woes go on as they capitulated easily in their away League match, losing 0-2. Central defender Rasmus Sadi made his 50th appearance for the Casuals.

Palace Terriers continued their away-day with another match in Indonesia, this time in the Champions League. By far the better Quality side, only luck and a superb display by the home 'keeper kept the score down to sensible levels, striker Florent Ben Dhia opening the scoring and Julien van der Plas adding a double as the visitors went 3-0 up with 15 minutes to go. A foul by Ben Smith brought a booking and a free-kick for the hosts, but 'keeper Chris Lux was equal to the task for both the set-piece and the ensuing corner, but was beaten to the punch by a header from the second corner as the home side scored a late consolation.
