Day 7 - Palace Terriers report (part the first).
Having spent several hours on the transfer market without finding any suitable players, and not having any luck with negotiations, the Terriers Management decided that the only way to improve the squad at the moment is through the Scout...
Left-back Cesar Oltra and right-winger Julien van der Plas have been released to make room for these two purchases.
In their League match today away at the unbeaten team in 2nd place, the Management gave Andre Forsmark his debut at left-back and made him primary free-kick taker on the left flank. He was given two chances, and took them both. Another ex-Scout player, striker Ian Kay, scored the third goal in a 3-0 win. Midfielder Bojan Milosavljevic played his 50th game for Terriers.
It wasn't all plain sailing for the visitors, the central defenders were run ragged by the opposition strikers and it was only a superb MoM-winning display by 'keeper Ahmed Mohamed kept a Terriers clean sheet.
