the Key players, that can win the 70% of a title they alone, these who score and appear in every match or the 95%.. and that... usually I found 1 player like this per season,, and is a ST or MC,,
Then the acceptable players, that, or assist/sscore 1 time x2 matches been ST/MC and too if we count the defenders, help, and, sometimes too, been MCs help in defense during matches more than some DC..
And the player type Djibril Cissé that I had last year or so.... ST, 26 matches, 3 goals.

Worth or not, depend of what you see after test the player. And tests include, test a player for corners and for fouls, that is something that can help a lot, for example my best scorer 2 seasons ago was the MC Pavel Nedved, that scored many goals from foul.

Then, as all teams have better and worst players, in internal quality terms, the only things you can do to create advantadge in anticipation terms, is to train the phisical stats, because the effectiveness in % of goals scored per shoot, is more a thing with a limit style min./max. internally proggrammed, that can be slighly increased maybe adding cones in shooting and so, but the impact is higher adding your cones with the idea to increase the speed. Thats how I deleted 9* teams in Cup.

And you're suggesting i should train physical/mental rather than attack skills?

The worst was the AMC with shadow striker, did not make the diference you expect! end up selling it after some seasons.

All the other 3were super stars, top scorers and assisters, season after season, and i keep them until the retirement, always with good stats.

Thanks for the tips, they are even more than the question i asked :)
But until now I dont see many teams with DML/DMR, there is a popularity of formation with 4-3-3 narrow (the Barcenola fan's type), and also a lot of people favour formation with 3 DCs (which means the flanks are open for attack!), so that's why i want some winged attack midfielders to capitalize on that :D

i just did many things you said, let him kick penalties, train his attack and P&M skill point, and i will let him grow naturally, not to put him in heavy training sessions.
And i will try to let him take free kick in a week, let's see if he can do better than my ST (with SA), this ST's chance to score when have free kick is like 10% :( :( :(
And i cant stop him getting 7 stars if he can haha, i wont train him but let him grow, if he can get 7*, he can be in my team for 3 seasons, it's a good thing. I'm type of manager who gets very sad when i sell my core players, and i dont care much about the offers,lol .

Scout players are always a hit and run. I am level 17 now and bought almost a scout player each season (btw, im a ftp) i have more luck with wingers compared to strikers and midfielders. Strikers are usually flops, the best is probably avg 0.5 goal per game. Not necessary to buy a 69 tokens, i usually source for 39 tokens that can last for 3 seasons which is good enough for me (13 tokens per season) I will buy AMR/AML/AMC for versatility and the last one i bought give me a 24 goals and 20 assist in league alone. My 2 cent worth.

After few matches, i must say that this Shadow Striker is not completely useless at all! My player scored many beautiful goals with his long range efforts, furthermore, he always finds enough space for himself to make a shot, he shots from distance more than any other player in the team.
Guess for the first scout player, Nordeus wants to persuade me to buy more by making him effective goal scorer :cool:
