Shot effiency

This is going to be a noob question but I can't work out what has an effect on shot effiency.

Just to avoid obvious responses.
I know it's calculated shots at goal by shots on target.

Example. 18 shots 10 on target 1 goal=10%

If you have games like I have you've dominated games, had 5x more chances on goal yet draw 1-1 or 2-2.

Is shot conversion down to pure luck or is our orders affecting our players composure?
If you dominate games and deserve a comfortable 3-1 yet finish 1-1 you have a right to feel aggrieved, right? So why is it so common.

Really is not so easy, and now really do not remember if is related with orders too or so ...but I tend to analyze the team by looking players/goals-assistances made per match...
Individual player with good %'s of matches-goal contribution, and thats a plus. xD

My 4th choice striker is my top scorer with 3 goals lol.

Average shot conversion rate in top flight football is around 37 - 40% mark I think so how they've made strikers have goal droughts is all too common.

I've noticed that there are few absurd results as, 11 x 0, 12 x 0, 13 x 0 against weaker teams, come to think it was made any changes in this regard, I am struggling to beat them even changing tactics or orders in my favor.





Here we have two matches I played against teams lower relative quality compared to my team but did not get a good result

How strange. This was my 0-0 today.

I've noticed that there are few absurd results as, 11 x 0, 12 x 0, 13 x 0 against weaker teams, come to think it was made any changes in this regard, I am struggling to beat them even changing tactics or orders in my favor.
