    But how can the formation end up like that? Doesn't the system insert other players from the squad, or is that only at match time?

    I could face worse teams on a league opener, although he did manage a draw in the cup!

    It is a pain coz if u play like me and change your formation to counter their formation then you won't be able to.

    This is a visual bug at the start of the new season you will always find teams like that when the season will start.

    not visual bug i think. it's because the the manager hasn't renewed his players' contract yet. you can check whether this hypothesis is correct though. after 7 days you can check that team again and this should be clear by then

    i loosed once with such a team and i was very very angry. i was 800% better 5,6 stars players, he only couple of one star, 80% ball during the match, shots around 26-1 an loose 0-1 : )
