What's a good counter for 3-4-1-2 these days. I was thinking to go with 3-5-2 v style of 4-5-1 v style

I've had lots of success with ND against 3N-4-1-2 and 3W-4-1-2...

I'll let Talisman add to this but mine are usually

Normal
Short passing
Through the middle
Own half
Normal tackling
Zonal
No counter
No offside

Normal for even/lower Quality, Attacking for higher Quality than oppo. I use Thru' Middle/Low pressure/Normal tackle/Short pass/Zonal/no offside - Counter on for normal, none for attacking.

Possession is pretty well guaranteed by the short passing.
