Hi, i experienced same problems with butterfly.
I started using it vs a hard 4-4-2 opponent to defeat him and it worked fine some seasons ago.
I also used vs vstyle with good results.
In next season i started experiencing problems with dml and left dc bad performances and tried for different formations.
I suppose the most issues come from 3dc high vulnerability if dml and dmr are in bad condition, vs formations using wingers
