Day 5 - Palace Terriers League report.
The Palace Terriers Management decided to throw the outfield new signings in at the deep end with starts in the home league match against a title-challenger in the still embryonic League table, leaving the new goalkeeper on the bench. Attacking midfielder Nikolay Radev made an instant impact, 1 goal and 1 assist, and a MoM winning 10 rating. Fellow AM Zdenek Krajca also had 1 goal and 1 assist, the other two goals coming from central defender Xavier Theresine, the stand out player in a defence which limited the visitors to one shot on target in the whole game. Incumbent 'keeper Ahmed Mohamed made his 50th appearance for the Terriers but only rated 6.2, which considering the only thing of note he had to do was to pick the ball out of the net after being beaten by the only shot on target against him, is not surprising...
