It really depends on the formation your opponent is using and the passing type, sons. All I know is that high pressing and man marking is the most tiring thing you can do in the game for your players. I do agree with most of your logic in your last 3 posts though. If you are running high press and man to man, you had better be sure your centre backs have a quality advantage in defensive and p&m vs their strikers' offense and p&m ratings. Otherwise they will just run past you 1 on 1.
