    MC = Yellow cards?

    My two starting MCs between them have more YCs than the rest of the team combined. They each played 18 competition matches. One has 4 YC, the other 5. No one else has more than 1 YC. The most active player has played 21 matches (0 YC), the next active -- 20 matches with 1 YC.

    Is it the role (and my formation) that makes them get YCs, or is it programmed in each player how rough he is going to play?

    The thing is, I remember my previous pair of MCs being in the same YC trouble and sitting out matches.

    You could try focusing on their defending and physical stats or maybe play 4-1-2-1-2 wide and drop them for a few games?

    Because of YCs? I sold my 4th MC. Down to 3, all of them YC magnets. MCs are not hard to acquire. I would replace these doofuses if I knew it would do any good. I never feel they impact the matches in a positive way: MOM, high rating, scoring or passing. All they are good for is getting YCs.

    For rotation purposes and because they can be YC magnets, They also have a big impact as subs if opponent has been pressing high the whole game.

    Do your MCs get a lot (I mean disproportionately) YCs?

    I think that maybe normal...MC are the key men....they join everything in the match (both defense and attack...) well... i don't mean ST won't join defense or DC join the attack...but...still MC are the most important men in the field...and they are also the first defense line...so... getting more YC maybe normal...

    Not this season, but they have in the past.
    I've only received 6 yellows (2 by one player in one match) and 1 straight red after 17 competitive games this season for my entire team. 2 of those going to 2 MCs.
