The Golden eaglets are through to the semi final of champs league with a well fought victory. Considering the fact he was way better, I played normal and switched on counter attacks, and won the second leg after a 1 all draw away. Best top eleven win ever, I was simply cool, calm and collected and it paid off.

Day 21 - Palace Casuals report.
Palace Casuals played away in their Champions League Quarter-Final 2nd Leg, lost 0-2, but still progressed to the Semi-Final 3-2 on aggregate.

Nearly 4 hours later, a home League match beckoned, and a battle of the formations ensued. Starting with 4-1-2-1-2ND against 3N-4-1-2, Casuals struggled to penetrate the opposition defence, so at 2-0 up, the Management reshuffled the front 3 into 4-5-1V and changed to attacking down the flanks. The opposition manager made a substitution to change to 3N-4-3 and quickly got a goal back, but then his world fell apart as Casuals ran in 3 goals in the last 10 minutes to end as 5-1 winners. Massimiliano Gerini, playing AMC, opened the scoring just before half-time, Andre Faisca scored the next two, the first from striker, the second from left-wing, and Maarten Wiegman started as striker but then found himself on the right-wing from where he scored another brace to finish off the match. Palace Casuals move up to 9th place after their third League win in a row.

That was unexpected. Played against the number two. We lost our first match 2-0, when he was still league leader. I'm now at fifth position, three points behind 4th (who by all means shouldn't be there - >10 point gap in avq).
Ronchi (ST) and Stahl (AML) scored twice. Second remark of assistant manager is remarkable.

Day 21 - Palace Terriers report.
1st vs 2nd in the League, and 2nd came with defensive/high/offside tactics to thwart the Terriers front line - 0-0 draw ensued.

Exactly three hours later, away for the Champions League Quarter-Final 2nd Leg. The Management decided against 4-4-2 Classic against the home side's 5-3N-2 and opted for 3N-4-1-2 instead, using the same high/offside tactics that the opponent in the League game used and achieved a clean sheet, scoring twice at the other end for a 2-0 win and qualification for the Semi-Finals, 3-1 on aggregate. Striker Samir Gross and AMC Nikolay Radev got onto the score sheet.

Scrappy win today vs an opponent we drew away in our last meeting.
First double yellow of the season.

Concerned about next match away vs 2nd place as I may not be able to attend. i crushed him 5-0 at home last meeting but he has changed his formation since. I am playing a defensive 3n3w112 vs his 442WD. I will be content with a draw.

Phew!
Phoenix United squeezed through to the semi finals of the CL with 2 goals from backup striker Cho scoring from corners assisted by Escobar. They scored an away goal on the 79th minute to give us a scare but we made it through 2-1 on aggregate.
