Champions League tie breaking...

So I thought I would end up first in my group stage, as the top 3 had equal points but I had superior goal difference.
But for some reason I ended up third. Can someone explain how this works.


I looked up tie breaking rules for top eleven but rule two still stated that a superior goal difference was the second criteria to look at.
I'm really confused as to why I'm not first as in the real Champions League I would have ended up first.

Superior GD in matches played among the tied teams. Barring the last team, your GD is apparently -2. Please upload all the matches' picture to make it a bit clear.

Never mind, I learned today, it must be because of the matches played between the teams, and the goal difference between us.

I always thought it was just goal difference that was the tie breaker but it is not.

The overall goal difference is the last straw — say both matches between 2 tied teams ended 0-0, then the total GD will come to effect.

Here are all duels, but now I understand it, they are better because in the duels between the three of us they had the better goal difference, or more goals.

CL is a little different when it comes to tie breaking compared to the league.
Sorry to see that, getting kicked out of the CL with 12 points and +14 GD sucks! But next time you will do better

At first, 3 teams were tied, so this was the standings comparing head to head:

Yusuf FC qualifies thus, leaving you two tied:

Alpasian SK-3-3-1-3(+2)
You-3-1-3-3-(-2)

Alphasian SK also qualifies. Thus you're out.

You should've qualified, since you won the first two (the chronology is left-to-right, top-to-bottom or the opposite?)
