Knock on wood, but I have not had an injury in training yet since the new version.

Plenty of injuries in games, and my red packs are exhausted as of the last game. But not in training, which was by far the most frustrating feature/bug of the previous version. Do stretch, have a guy break the leg for a 6-day layup.
I do start every practice with either a warm-up or a stretch, almost religiously. If you remember in the tutorial they said that was a good idea and should prevent injuries (or reduce likelihood of injuries). A few times I trained my academy bench-warmers, whom I would not miss if they got injured, with a short and sweet (easy to medium) attack or Defence drill. No injuries. But I would not do that if training my main squad.
Also, I have never started a practice with the "Sprint" (Very Hard), the third of three P&M drills available to me at this point. In fact, I don't remember ever using it, but that's another subject.
