I disagree. I am not a token buyer but do reasonably well.

7th in the first season.
1st in the second season and runner up in the cup.
Now on the third season and im top of the league, in the CL and in the cup.

I can show you a great trophy room just 1st and 2nd in cl and league for 6 seasons in row, without buying 1 token, you just need to take care about team and watch the transfer market a lot to get good players for less tokens.

You can do well in this game without buying tokens, but if you come across lots of scout/token buyers then it can be very difficult, In my early days of playing upto L12 - I never bought tokens and I won lots of trophies too but I did get a lot of help from videos I must say.

In asia, the videos only reward you with booster and money. No token nat all
