You'd wanna tank in Cup to ease off the schedule.... It'll be midseason if you tank in CL, while it takes only 3 days to tank in Cup.

First hat trick of the season and of the player's career in a easy league match.

Finally got a lone goal from a ST too lol.
Here's my CL opponent, I haven't had a Q disparity like this since last season's cup exit. I know he uses short passing and I am going to test whether you can't use man to man vs higher quality opponents. I can afford a loss even if I am on 15 wins in a row. He has 2 98Q players lol.

Atlético Kolkata Day 4 and 5 Report
A 3-0 victory and loss over subsequent days. At home yesterday David netted a brace on his first league game and Kayis also got a goal. But today it was just the opposite. I had no idea what to do. The back and Moreau were horrible, letting in every shot on target. I guess I can't be so ambitious to win the league, rather focus on a Top 4 finish :(
The season's gonna be long.
Phoenix United still won all games so far with a 2-1 League victory.
Centre back Malacort opened the scoring
Tebily scoring the winner
My GK is in shaky form, hopefully he improves and finds the form he had last season.
Day 5 - Palace Terriers report.
Two away matches for Palace Terriers today, the first in the Champions League Group stage, Round 2, and Terriers made an efficient job of winning the match 3-0. Striker Kamel Hamlili and midfielder Lukasz Sapela scored the first two goals, and 5 minutes from time new midfielder Niklas Schlaudraff opened his Terriers account with a header from an Onder Chamoun corner.

Three hours and some later, the Terriers were up against the highest-Quality team in the League, and despite conceding in the first half, were holding their own before the referee gave two penalties against them in the last three minutes of the match. 'Keeper Aurelian M'Futi had no chance with the first, but guessed right against the same penalty taker two minutes later, then Terriers had to accept their first defeat of the season.

Well.....today is a nice day hope this kind of day become the norm of my teams the whole season CoZ I wanna win. Had 1- 3 win with flying eagles in the league. The Golden eaglets are improving by leaps and bounds.....won 0 - 5 in champs league and 0 - 8 in the league. But the highlight of this team today is the Ck taker and the Fk taker who is the goalie.... Bojic had 5assists today and my goalie had 3goals from Fk. Thanks Gert Funk, your experiment as made me unravel a hidden talent. http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/2016...6f7ad847d6.jpghttp://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/2016...1721f4ae15.jpg
Thanks, that made me feel better :)
But now look at my league I feel I do have a chance, since none has won (and can win mathematically... still two games remaining in Round 3) all of their first 3 games. Apparently one of my level 2 opponents lost his first two games, and those were his last losses... He won the league.
You really have to wait till Day 7 to know who are your rivals in the race. But a 3-0 loss away, where the opponent had a 100% shot efficiency is ought to hit your morale.
Yea, I get. You are just powerless against effective strikers. Or maybe troll results are hitting you early on. That could be a good news, at least you could go a long game unbeaten after that. The strongest team in my league won 1, lost against me. But he could come back later, so I just wanna win as much as possible. I think your best chance is to get at least a draw when the loss of form hit your team. Set a target of not losing more than 3. Things should come around. I really want you to be the champion it's long overdue. [emoji106]
Nice and easy for reserves

Day 5 - Palace Casuals report.
Palace Casuals were at home in the League for their only match today, and the rest did them some good. Opposition were playing a sort of double winger formation, but the 4-5-1V of the home side was more than a match and a 6-0 score followed. Right-winger Maarten Wiegman netted a hat-trick, left-winger Angelo Musto bagged a brace and striker Massimiliano Gerini converted a last-minute free-kick.

I lost 2-0. Didn't concede until 2nd half when I changed tackling strength to hard from easy and put counter attacks on.

2 more victories today, one of them vs a better opponent! So far so good!
With a little bit of smart tactics we managed to beat one of the top competitors and much stronger teams, but only just

Well, that's the object of the game - score one more than the opposition and you've won... :p
Well done...
Eh.. this season, after a long hiatus, has started well:

This could get interesting...

First offer is from team Casuals played in Champions League Knockout phase last season, and they squeaked through in 2nd Leg mainly due to MoM Gonzalez saving everything in sight - manager must have been impressed. The second offer is just a cheapskate Zero-T-er.
Player is my reserve 'keeper, as Casuals are still in the Cup I may hang on to him, unless I find something equal in the Transfer Market...
I wouldn't sell to a rival.
I signed a sub striker who assisted in the last minute of extra time to win the Champions League final - against the players former owner.
Day 6 - Palace teams League report.
The Palace Casuals Management had their phone on charge overnight, and they forgot to take it with them when they went out this morning, so the team had to play their away League match under the guidance of the Assistant Manager. He needn't have worried though, as the front three shared out the goals again...

Palace Terriers League status after some late matches yesterday:

Palace Terriers played at home against a team with an asymmetric midfield and struggled against that, and the knock to their confidence the loss in the previous match caused, to a 2-1 win. Terriers were thankful that the set-piece takers had their wits about them as a free-kick from Onder Chamoun and a penalty from Philip McKay was enough to see them to the line for all three points.

Was 2 down and down to ten men and heading out but after a sub and change of shape by the manager scored 3 goals in last 14 mins to win

Atlético Kolkata Day 6 Report
My defence is like a house of cards this season. However we managed to eek out a 3-2 at home. By the time I joined in, we were already trailing 2-1 in the 14th. Then a change of play helped Thiago earn a goal and an assist to Kayis. I was patient, so much so that the winner came in the 88', with Falamarzi assisting Garayar from a corner.
Absolutely boring yaaaawn!

Aarh man, keeper injured in 88' minute

Quick update. Two losses, two draws, won the rest. Still in cup, 3rd in CL, 6th in league (goal difference, could've been 4th).
All going well so far.
Will take take tough oppo
http:// http://i1318.photobucket.com/albums/...psybntakas.png
Maybe my worst defeat today.
I played with the new version to use some extra bonus as oppo had a good team.
Started with an early goal (playing defense counter) and set an extra defense bonus.
Then conceded 3 goals :(
After the break, I had another goal and as I had ball possession (I had 11-12 supporters and oppo wasn't watching) switched to attack, using two times the attack bonus.
Conceded 3 more goals :(
Ok, no more bonus mumbo jumbo for this season :p

Day 6 - Palace teams Cup report.
Both teams played Cup matches this evening, each defending a 3-0 1st Leg advantage over their opposition.
Palace Terriers played first and won their away 2nd leg 1-0, right-winger Declan McGranaghan recording his 100th goal for the Terriers with the winning goal from an Onder Chamoun corner. Terrier progress to the next round 4-0 on aggregate.

Palace Casuals found themselves 0-1 down at home after 20 minutes, and a key player down 7 minutes later when right-winger Maarten Wiegman went off injured. Midfielder Mario Dinamarca put his scoring boots to good use with a free-kick just before half-time, and after the break, the home side reasserted itself, substitute Angelo Musto and left-winger Andre Faisca scoring to make the final score 3-1. Casuals progress to the next round with a 6-1 aggregate score.

Signed another 21 token youngster to get a young player since they are no longer generated

This is actually a main reason why I am considering quitting this game
A satisfying away league win. The win streak extended to 10. Started out slow against a lower ranked opponent and failed to produce in the first half playing 4-1-2-1-2 Narrow Diamond. Hard to say what I was going to regret the most: having the win streak broken or my strikers going dry after being on fire for the first six days of the season.
Noticed the oppo had adjusted his formation compared to pregame to make it more defensive. Swapped my bored DMC for the AMR Willemse who was chomping at the bit, and was lucky (well, not entirely, more like provident) to have my AMC also play AML. Went 4-2-2-2 Hexagon and turned the heat on the oppo defense with high pressing. Right away ST Kara let lose assisted by ST Monasterki. Willemse would end up knocking in two, grabbing MOM and making me proud, and Kara scored again. My DR got ejected in the 81st minute with two YCs, putting a damper on a perfect outing.
Very happy with the adjustments I made and with the consistency of my dynamic duo of STs. Ass man aka Captain Obvious, again raved about our training preparation.
Playing a massively underpowered CL opponent later today. I mean, 23% to my 96%. What's that all about? Hope the lads are not offended by the $0 win bonus. If I get trolled, I will cry.
So you can't really strenghen your team without spending a Whole bunch of tokens :(

Day 7 - Palace Terriers report.
Palace Terriers played at home to 8th place and registered a 5-0 win to (temporarily) go to the top of the League. Right-winger Declan McGranaghan opened the scoring, left-winger Samir Gross carried it on with a brace, then midfielder Niklas Schaudraff before right-back Onder Chamoun from a free-kick completed the scoring.

The Champions League beckoned in the afternoon and Terriers were away in Round 3, started at a canter, got bogged down mid-match before finishing with a flourish. Left-winger Mark Hughes, right-back Onder Chamoun (from open play) and striker Brian Horne scored the goals.
