Palace Terriers End-of-Season summary.
Palace Terriers started their 10th season at Level 10, and were the joint second highest Quality team in the League. Having come up against, and lost to, the highest quality team early on in the season, Terriers then went on a record-breaking 32-match unbeaten run, including record-breaking 19 consecutive wins, in all competitions, keeping the pressure on the League leader, but they were very difficult to catch. In the end, Terriers only finished three points adrift in the Runner-up spot, thanks to the leader losing his unbeaten League record on the last match of the season.
In the Champions League, Terriers posted their third 100% Group stage in four seasons, and then progressed through to the Final, where they met their match and ended up Runner-up.
In the Cup, Terriers made steady progression through the rounds, posting good wins over higher-level teams, including one Level 14 outfit that just capitulated in the 2nd Leg after Terriers got a creditable draw in the away leg. The Semi-Final opponent proved to be a higer-level team too far, and Terriers bowed out after two 0-1 legs.
So after their League/Champions League double last season, Terriers end this season with two seconds and a third place.
