    well... in old system, you can control adding passing to defenders or crossing to full backs... just see where you add it to ...either in PC (more control) or in mobile (less control)...but either way, you still can choose what your player can focus on...

    like in the past, i perfect my ST or AML/AMC/AMR has a stronger attack and physical....usually at least 10 points over the defense .... but now... in the new system.... it is hard to have that big different between skills... my new recommend AMR/ST all skills grow are almost equal...my old AMR/ST defense is only 69....attack and physical is 82...that is what i like my player to be...not all skill grow together at the same time... (you know, attack drill has defense skill include...so no matter you training, your attack player still gain defense...no matter what....and in the old system you can avoid that if you didn't put points in defense...)

    You can? I use PC and, for me, I can only choose weather I put the cones in defense/attack/physical but within them it adds them to random skill. I guess I never learned to use the old system.

    Probably another significant flaw of the game.
    Suppose that you want to train some of your players for attacking skills. Defensive players will be required for some of the drills, but attacking players should not gain any significant defensive skills; this should go to the defensive players involved. The same applies for other cases such as goalkeeper training, where secondary players may be involved.

    you see the different? both are 79 token recommend player~ Garcia was 3 season ago... Bartel was from last season
    but Garcia's skill is what i like my ST/AMR to be.... more attack...more physical....i am not interested about the defense.... i want my ST/AMR has more speed and better shooting....and you can see Garcia's skill has a big different from attack and defense... while Bartel...yes, there is some...but not that big....(79 vs 76)... while Garcia is (82 vs 69) and bartel is training under the new system all the time...70% for attack drill... but still the defense skill still keep adding in...

    if before, your player won't get marking, tackling, bravery unless you adding points to defense... (and yes, it is random add to that...but not randomly from attack and defense......do you get what i mean?)

    Garcia has 3 seasons of training on him while Bartel only has 1. In 2 seasons Garcia's attack/defense difference will be as big as Bartel's, no? None of the attacking drills have 'bravery,' yet Bartel's bravery is 118%. So I assume when you bought him his defensive skills were about 118%. Positioning and heading have gone up but they are considered "key attributes" now so that's a good thing.

    Only 2 attacking drills have useless defensive skills, 4 if you want to avoid 'heading' too. So you still have 4 drills you can use.

    But yes, it's not exactly like it used to be. Whether that's a good or bad, no idea.

    yes, garcia has 3 season of training...but the first season...was in old system...which i make that big different....and in the following 2 season (include this one) they train together~ and garcia's position ...this season from 81% increase to 96% (you know...promoted....skill % number will be drop to respond to that LV) and all the defense skill increase about 15% at the same time (and i used to be have the first two attack drill all the time in all training time) still...i don't like the defense skill increase randomly without the permission....(i don't care the positioning and heading too much...) i just need my AMR run as fast as he can in the wings....defense left it to defense.... but in the old system, if i don't add points to defense, the defense will not increase....
