This is an old thread! but an interesting topic. I have noticed too if it's an immediate game I get no attendance sometimes, but I never worried about it since the income would be so small... I always have the ticket prices low on my team, and for friendlies it's usually very cheap, like a fifth of the price of regular League matches. I never considered that the team vs. would affect attendance but that makes sense.
