Gerini added to his hat-trick in the previous match by opening the scoring in the latest Champions League Group stage match, then Wiegman scored a 9-minute hat-trick to give the home side a 4 goal advantage at the break. Opposition manager arrived just after half-time, just in time to see his charges pull a goal back, but Wiegman continued on and netted another brace before the visitors scored again. Substitute Andre Faisca, on for the injured Angelo Musto, then tidied things up with the last goal in a 7-2 win.
