I lost a bid at round 25. Second time that this happened; the last time was last year.

At the start of the knock-out rounds, there were about 4 players, and those remained for a few rounds, but one stubborn user kept bidding.

If I bade just before knock-out round 25, he would have lost as he did not bade further, but I did not want to take the risk as he was bidding just before the start of every knock-out round. So, he paid near double the market value for the player; it seemed that it was a fast-trainer though. Was the player worth 25 tokens? Maybe, especially due to the fact of the poor transfer market and no 5-star 'nordgens'. But, taking into account the overall price (25T and double the market value), not worth it. So, if any of you guys face a situation like this, it is better to step out earlier.

25 tokens lost on one player, and ealier I lost 7 tokens on another player. I did manage to win some bids, albeit in the higher rounds. That is enough for today.

I never go more than 10T in the Transfer Market, and only for high-Quality players (x4/x9). Others I set a 5T limit, but if I think that one more might win the player will go to the 6th T.

Today, all the bids that I participated in went above round 10, except one which I let the other user win after 7 rounds as he was looking stubborn. The bids that I won costed 14T, 14T and 12T. Nordeus also contributed to this situation by not sending 5-star 'nordgens' today. This could be an intentional 'move' from them.

Never mind. I accept that I have lost 25T. I still had the chance to opt out earlier, but I wanted this player. He had one of the combination of positions that I was looking for, all the necessary attributes to a required level, except one, he was very close to the next star, and he appeared to be a fast-trainer. Currently, I have a LB and CB, both on the lower 4 stars, and I have only 1 player capabale of playing at LB and 2 player's capable of playing at CB in my team. So, this player would probably have been a great addition.

Come on Gert, what if you finally see in your auction list a close to 6 stars fast trainer, relatively cheap in terms of market value for a 5-star fast trainer at your level (around 50% difference), that has relevant positions to the formations you usually use? The market was very poor today; like I have said, there were mostly 3-star nordgens and only two 4 star-nordgens earlier today. The player that came later were second-hand players, most of which were slow trainers, and yet there were bidding wars.

He isn't a fast trainer. Actually I would say medium to slow (because he is 23 y.o.) .
It's not worthy to spend more than 5T for players like him as he hasn't any sa which could give him some added value for re-selling.

How were your transfer markets today? It seems that for you, good 'nordgens' are usually present, especially on the first day for all of your accounts.

On mine, only there was a lot of 3 star 'nordgens' but not even one 5 star player. This is very poor for a first day of a season. Take into consideration that I was online very early, refreshed the list several times with time as the day proceeded, but in vain.

You are so right, then I would be very very stubborn as well
