Day 12 - Palace Terriers report.
Palace Terriers played at home against the bottom team in the League and worked their way back to winning form with a 6-0 win. Playing 4-1-4-1 as counter to their opponents 4-1-2-3, the ML and MR got a rare outing, and MR Ahmed Moawad continued his remarkable run of scoring a brace every match he has played in for the Terriers. Alessio Doratiotto bagged a double, and Michele Tempesta and Philip McKay scored once each. Left-back Shotaro Ishi became the latest player to head to the treatment room after his injury.
Terriers travelled away for their 1st Leg Cup 'Top-16' Round match, and fell behind in the first minute to a free-kick from the home side's free-kick specialist, Philip McKay transgressing and receiving a yellow card for his trouble. The Management immediately changed the team orders and told them to go defensive/counter/longball, and this shut down the home attack to the effect of allowing them only one shot on target for the rest of the match. Samir Gross equalised a few minutes before the break, and Michele Tempesta and Nikolay Radev secured the win against their Level 12 opponents with two goals in a minute in the second half.
