Day 19 - Palace teams report.
All matches done and dusted by 13:30BST today, and it was win, win, win all the way...
Palace Terriers first up in the League, and an intense but confident performance in registering a 3-1 away win, despite going a goal down in the 4th minute. Goals from Samir Gross, a Michele Tempesta free-kick and Alessio Doratiotto.
Palace Casuals visited the basement team in the League and registered a moderately easy 5-1 win, with Maarten Wiegman rediscovering his scoring boots and bagging a hat-trick, Jack Auger and Matan Elkabets contributing the others. Unfortunately Wiegman blotted his copybook with a late tackle and will miss the next League outing after accumulating two yellow cards.
Palace Terriers had the minimum time to wait before their next away trip, this time in the Champions League Quarter-Finals. Facing a lower Quality team with an attacking formation, Terriers had to graft their way to a 2-0 win which sets them up nicely for the return Leg. Michele Tempesta nodded in a Esneider Gil corner and Nikolay Radev was in the right place to slot home a Samir Gross cross.
