Funny how people keep complaining and still can't understand how this recommended players work... took me 2 weeks to understand it.
You can control them, you can get any position..
More than only that.. You can even choose the days you want those Recommended players to come..

About how to choose the eact position you want:
The engine gives you a player that your team needs, it's doing the math of average quality for every position.
Let's say you've got:
2x GK in your team : one has 50Quality and 2nd one has 30 = Average of 40Q
4xDC with 50Q/50Q/50Q/30Q = Average of 45Q.
3xMC with 55Q/50Q/45Q = Average of 50Q
3x ST with 55Q 55Q 40Q = Average of 50Q.
The engine did calculate that your weakest side is GK with 40Q and will automaticlly give you a goal keeper.
The higher your average lowest average quality for a single position, the higher price on the recommanded players you'll get.
In my case, i've usually got 2x ST with high Quality and 2x ST with low quality. i usually get Strikers as recommended players every season but that's simply because i never sold my 2x ST with 1Star quality.
so does it mean im supposed to play only the new version to get reccomended players or play old version for 7 days in a row? (i dont understand english so well)

You need new version to get reccomended players.
Every 7 days you get them.
If you want to get them later just use Old version and reccomended players will come when you login from New version.
You can login the New version on day 1, get the players and then go back to old version for as log as you want, the day you log new version again you'll have reccomended players.
Corect me if im wrong.. You had 130 average quality on your ST group, seems like that's the lowest in your teamQuote:

Level 32 - the TM for 5* players is full of 28-31yo low-Q has-beens - scout market has decent enough players but with useless or incompatible SAs - no-one is selling in Negotiations, even with a several-T offer - I needed a left-sided defender - one match and he's a 6* player - you do the maths...Quote:

79 T for a 5* player, when it usually is 79 T for a 6* player. The 3 other offers last season was as expected, with a 6* player for 79 T. Only this offer on day 1 seems wrong.
With this lower quality, the prices normally are lower (compared to all the other screenshots in this thread). Only 1 other screenshot in this thread have the same price, and it sounds like this offer was also on day 1.

I´ve had that a few times on day one of the season a recommended 5 star for 79 tokens .It seems as it´s a bug & with the change of seasons & you are getting offered last seasons player minus his 6th star.
Palace Terriers are still amongst the ST recommendations...

my 1st (AMR/ST) and 2nd (ST/AMC) recommend player are still doing good.... 1st one is heading to his 27 years old.....but still my main ST and 2nd one is still my main AMC~ my 3rd (AMR/ST) and 4th (AMC/MC) are both my sub... but not bad at all.... (they are only perform unstable at the 1st season they join the team) .... now... my 5th recommended player... a GK....LOL he is still a nightmare in my team.... one game he can stop 9 out of 9 on target against with a strong team.... the other game against a weak team.... he only save 1 out of 4 on target ....and made my draw in the first game of this league game.... (2:2.... lucky my attacker pull 2 back from 2:0 and got at least 1 point...) still ...i have no idea how to train him-.-....

I have 2 teams, both had only ST'S from the beginning of this option,i saw your post and i said to try your trick.
Today my second team got another set of ST'S,i have only 3 ST'S 36,38 and 40q.
So my ST's average quality is 38,wich is the best line of my team
Midfield av q is 35,defense av q is 34.5,average team quality is near 36
If the engine calculate the weakest side of my team,he should give me anything else but a striker

Another set of ST'S now for my main team,i already have 2 better then those(125 and 126 quality)so i don't see the improvement any 1 of those players can add to my team,the only good thing is that for the first time they are much cheaper,"only"59T,usually the best 1 is 79T
